Very very few Ashkenazi have dark skin tone and most of them are converts to Judaism. The Israelites going back 3,000 yrs were described as dark skin people like Moses. The Yemenites are perfect example of this description. They left Israel 40 yrs. before the destruction of the second temple. My dad has manuscripts passed down by generations from our ancestry in Yemen.

If by long line of kings you mean one singular king, Dhu Nawas. Beyond him there were no Jewish kings, and he himself converted to Judaism, and was not originally Jewish. You may think of yourself as an Arab, but if you descend from Jews, then you are in actuality an Israelite.
