@Duckish Duck It's the Independence day(+week) of the last Jewish Kingdom.. Each and every costom of has an aspect that has some connection to the independence war. While Christmas, is at best a pagan solstice that had post jewish aspects superimposed on it. And what was these was in the end holowed out of any meaning.. As A Jew I'm upset not about this show.. but what this did to a jewish Holiday; Purim. The American Christmas has had even Israeli Jews giving the *Mishlo'ach Manot* - sent parcels. To family members and friends.. It's supposed to go to the Poor In the Community. This way your kids are not as likely to think it's the day of getting presents, rather than giving.
