Why the name Jesus, a name that has only existed since the 17th century? All peoples, tongues, and languages are to know the one name of Salvation: YAHSHUA (Philippians 2:11). Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! YAHSHUA is the embodiment of Israel, the Son of God. Pray that you know the one name of salvation revealed to us, for few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14). “...Satan, who deceives the whole world…” (Rev. 12:9). I've been watching One for Israel videos lately & I never realized how many Jews thought all Christians are Catholics who basically worshiped the Pope. Too many people think the New Testament is an antisemitic book about how get Jews. We've done a very poor job at showing our Jewish brothers our love. No. But God was showing us something here. This was also the first mention of love in Scripture. Isaac carried the wood on his back up that same mountain as Jesus did 2000 years later.

Thank you. All true scriptures. I just wanted to point out when Jesus was referring to his body and blood as real food and drink, he was referring to himself as the living word. John 1:1-18 covers this as well as other scriptures. Some that come to mind include the following: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God from the beginning. 3. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overpowered it. . 9 He is the true light, coming into the world that gives light to everyone. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We beheld His glory, the glory of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth. There are many passages to the living words of Jesus in the old and new testament that give us eternal life. In John 6: 63 Jesus says, "It is the Spirit that gives life: the flesh is of no benefit. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and are life! v 64 Yet some of you do not believe or trust." In other words, it isn't the eating of Jesus's physical flesh or drinking blood, but eating and drinking the living word of God, given to us to help us grow up in Messiah. It is the living water of life as spoken in John 4 and elsewhere.

These are all words of man. Nothing that is in the New Testament is in the Tanakh. The Messiah has not come yet, so how is his return certain? If you're giving absolutes, if Jesus isn't the Messiah is your eternity certain? None of what's in your bible has absolutely nothing to do with the Messiah. There should be a mystery who that servant is because its repeated constantly from Isaiah 42 on. Psalms 22 is a poem written by King David, it's not a prophecy. As for Jesus being the final sacrifice, according to Ezekiel the Messiah will actually bring the first sacrifices to the third temple. The Tanakh says no man can die for the sins of another. It also says the way to salvation is to repent your since and turn from your wicked ways. Wars and rumors of war? Isaiah 2:4 doesn't say that. You wouldn't know that because you only heard of Isaiah 53 was about Jesus that's why you read it. Psalms 22 is a POEM written by King David, it's not prophecy. The shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sins is primitive and archaic to say the least. To take a poor defenseless precious animal and kill it and shed its blood for the 5:28 atonement of sins is brutal and unnecessary. Same to sacrifice a human (jesus) for the forgiveness of sins! Then to top it off with telling non Christian's that they will not go to heaven (they will go to hell) unless they accept jesus as god and savior doesn't go over big with me. Every one of the first followers of Jesus were Jews. The Gentiles weren't admitted until later. Jesus was a Jew. The Twelve Apostles were all Jews. Let us start really simple. The Temple was destroyed because the Jews were not doing what they were supposed to be doing. We learned a very hard lesson and moarn for the loss of the Temple on the 9th of Av. Why don't Christian's fast the whole day and mourn for the loss of the Temple? One of the main reasons we look forward to the Messianic age is because the Temple will be rebuilt. If the Messiah came as you say then why is the Temple not rebuilt? If the temple was destroyed because of our sins and your so-called Messiah takes away all of our sins then the Temple should be rebuilt because we are free of sin. You all come down on the dude that turned your Messiah into the Romans and then they captured him and crucified him, at which point you say he died for mankind sins. But if "he" would not have been turned into the Roman authorities he probably never would have been caught and then how would you say that he died for Mankind's sins? Believe me this is just the tip of the iceberg and basic fundamental stuff. When you start getting into the mysticism and Noah's Ark, and the birds being sent out, well you start to understand a lot more about Christianity and its falsehood. I love everybody and I will not judge anybody. I will break bread with a Christian but I will not judge that person. To be honest I really do not even like discussing the subject. Just have to be good Jews and Christians have to be good Christians. If someone seeks out the truth of all truths, and really wants to put the pedal to the metal, then that person can convert to Judaism. Love and peace to all!

Those is what Europeans did slowly over time. Less war, less killing more working together. Not sure about this prophecy but western history shows exactly this. Christianity was a A civilizing force. We let it go over the last 200 years, and the Wars have been increasing ever since. The west wouldn’t have become what it was if we didn’t continually choose to put down arms. So again, I don’t know the specifics of this prophecy, but since Europeans became Christian they became less and less violent.

Just because NT claims all these things doesn't make it true. In the context of Deut.32 vs.21, 27-43, plus Jer.41-44 about ceasing to be the nation because they worship Queen-of-Heaven (aka Mother-&-Child religion), and in the context that Paul uses only TWO lines of 18 verses, vs.31 is very clear that Jesus is NOT the rock of Israel!!! Further, God is totally against proxies! Each person must simply repent. Even David understood that forgiveness doesn't come from sacrifices, but from repentance (Ps.51). Further, God is totally against making an image of Him to worship, showing Him in a form (Ex.20:1-6; Deut.4:12, 15), so will never make an image of Himself for us to worship. Paul has changed Torah by taking out "The Word" in Deut.30:11-20, and replacing it with "Jesus" in Rom.10:1-14. You may THINK this is right because you believe Jesus is The Word. But, your belief back to front: you believe it because you're taught it by Paul, but Paul has changed God's sacred Word! Isa.44:18 in context of idolatry, says the idol-worshipper who makes images of gods/God to worship, their minds are covered over. Paul changes this to say that Jews who refuse to worship the idol Jesus, are veiled. Deut.30:11-20 says Torah is easy, in our hearts & minds, and observing it is Life. Paul says Torah is so hard and people evil, that you need Jesus (Rom.7-8 etc); and he says Torah is death, dead, and replaced - all of which are foreign to Tanakh. Rather, Isa.24 calls Torah the Eternal Covenant. Isa.56 shows that in End Times even Gentiles will still be keeping Torah with no mention of worshipping Jesus nor even of worshipping the prophesied Messiah, coz he will be a human. See how he will bring sin sacrifices for his own unintentional sin (Ezek.45:22) and have real physical biological children (46:16, 18 ). You can't twist that one to make them spiritual children! The "virgin birth" immediately disqualifies Jesus from being Messiah - this cannot happen by adoption or by the mother! Also, his claiming to be the entire vine (or as Paul says, the entire Olive) into which everyone must graft to be "saved", excludes him. He has taught false. Isa.11:1 says Messiah will be one scion from one family from one tribe: Judah. Jer.31:31 must be read all the way to vs.40 to understand that the renewal of the Torah Covenant will take place at a time when Jerusalem will not again be ransacked. We all know it was ransacked shortly after Jesus! We're not to call on another Name except Y-H-V-H (Ex.3:15; Deut.6:13). Acts 2:19 correctly quotes Joel 2, but Acts 4:12 changes this. Nowhere in Tanakh does it say we're to call on another name, nor call Y-H-V-H by another name! I could give you hundreds of examples, but if you're intent on digging your heals in deeper, that is what you'll do, no matter even if you stare at the Truth. All I know is, the weird and wonderful experiences I had of Jesus aren't much different from those Balaam had with worshipping other gods alongside Y-H-V-H (Num.22-25), and Paul had (Acts 9), and the false prophets had (1 Kings 22), and the founders and adherents of many religions had. It held me captive for 40 years, and I'm thankful to God to be out of the lies, finally, because I cried out in desperation of soul to know the Truth and to know where the antisemitic Replacement theology in the church is coming from. God began entrusting me with Truth. Jer.41-44 said "very few will return". Instead, they became the Hellenist church fathers who replaced Torah with the Greek-logos! To demand that Jews believe in Jesus, versus their knowledge and believe of all God has said in Torah & Tanakh about going directly to God and repenting of sin, etc., is to undermine Jews, Judaism, and all that God has taught; it is to echo what the snake said to Chavvah, "Did God really say xyz?" Those that KNOW God will firmly resist any Torah-changing king ("messiah") (Dan.11:32). Yes, he has changed Torah! He said he (calling himself Messiah & God) came to bring a sword in families. Well, that is news, coz when Elijah comes, we're to remember Torah, and children & elders will turn their hearts to each other (end of Malachi; and Ps.24:6; Zech.12:10 which is about the lost of Israel returning to seek the face of Yaaqov). You need to read Dan.7:13, 14 to vs.27 and in Hebrew. And also understand why nowhere in NT is it used to promote Jesus as Messiah; nor is Isa.7:14 used. Nor Isa.9:6. Coz they would've been a laughing-stock, and no-one would've followed them! But, to fulfil Deut.32, there had to be very deceptive spirits, and indeed, mixing the Greek-logos and twisting Sacred Texts is the worst deception! Pointing to others being false Messiah's hides ones own falsehood. Since sacrifices will return as per the prophets (Isa.19:15-25; Isa.56; Jer.33:17-26; Ezek.45:22), it seems - according to your theory that the sacrifices were abolished because Jesus took their place / fulfilled them - suddenly when they come back, his death didn't fulfil them. Well, news for you: he never did fulfil them! It's all a test, to give us choice, to see what our mixed-culture hearts will chose, because without choice there is no righteousness! Those that resist Christianity's claims, who refuse to lift up their hands to him, who rather seek Yaaqov and the Paths of the Elders - the only elders who have legal standing to declare who is converted and what books are Canon (see Deut.17:8-13) - they will receive righteousness from Y-H-V-H (Ps.24:6).

In the Torah, there’s a specific timeline of when the messiah would come. It says he would come before the 2nd destruction of the temple, Jesus came 40 years before the destruction of the 2nd temple, it also said he would come from the blood line of David, which Jesus did come from. Rising from the dead is in the category of a supernatural miracle, Dr. Brown. The Torah says clearly that false prophets can do miracles (Deuteronomy 13), and that this is not to be considered whether someone is a prophet or not. God also states clearly through the gentile prophet Bilam that God is NOT A MAN (Numbers 23, I Samuel 15). You don't believe that Jesus was just the Messiah, you think he is God Incarnate. Jews don't believe that God can have any form at all, as is stated through out the Jewish Bible. Additionally, you accept the prophets don't you? @Backhoe Smashes This is a very important point. We see in the Bible examples of idol worshipers that could do miracles. For instance, Aaron throws his staff down in front of Pharoah 's court. Our sages say the entire court started laughing because their own sorcerers learned this as kids and this was considered a very small miracle. I must share for the sake of honesty that I am a religious Jew. The basic tenants of our faith and national identity include that exists only one God who has no physical form at all, who has formed all and who controls the universe. This God gave instructions to my people 3300 years ago in the Sinai desert. Some of those instructions were dictated by God to Moses, and some were oral teachings which applied the principles of the written Torah and are part of our traditions. Therefore, if the Bible gives examples of non Jewish prophets that did miracles, it is teaching that whether or not the religion is correct, it can still produce real miracles. I take this lesson very seriously and therefore do not consider this a proof of a particular religion's veracity. Rather, I must use the Jewish Bible as my guide. My Bible doesn't teach the principle you are presenting.

@Backhoe Smashes in my opinion and according to my tradition, I agree that only God could be behind this miracle. If you look in the book of Kings, other prophets also raise people from the dead (Elisha for example), and do other miraculous things like fusing wood in their hands (Ezekiel). The Talmud asks how these things are possible since God is the source of miracles. The answer is that God may give the "keys" over to whom he wants, and he may take them back when he wants. No, it is not offensive to call me a Jew. In my world view being Jewish isn't bad. I am not here to attack the faith of others, only to defend my religion from charlatans like Dr. Brown who lie about what Jews believe. Our Sages are our very learned scholars. Some are alive now and many have been gone for hundreds or thousands of years, but we still study their writings to glean any teachings we can from the wondrous Torah

Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). It could truthfully be said, “There is only one name by which we must be saved, and there are few who find it. If it could be any name according to one’s language, then why did God through an angel command both Joseph and Mary on separate occasions to name the Savior a specific name meaning salvation (Matthew 1:21 & Luke 1:31)? We can know that the name given by the angel to Joseph and Mary was not the name “Jesus.” The Sanhedrin forbids the revealed name of the Savior! “But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, ‘What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name” (Acts 4:15-17). Why did the Sanhedrin command them not to speak at all nor teach in the name they heard from the apostles? Apparently they heard “the name which is above every name.” Also, why would the Sanhedrin forbid to teach or preach in the name Yeshua, when this was a common name in Judea? The Savior’s name is not common, and few seem to know it. What does the expression “Halleluyah” mean? It means “Praise YAH.” According to the prophet Isaiah, the name YAH is the name of salvation. “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). Evidently, the essential name for our salvation is “YAH!” Christ’s name is YAHSHUA, which means, “I AM Salvation.” YAH=I AM. The Savior acknowledged that He is YAH, the is I AM. For, He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). Where did we get the name YAH, which means “I AM”? “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH” (meaning: “I AM WHO I AM”). I beg to differ with you. It is blasphemy and idolatry to equate any man with bring a diety! It's spelled out in the bible! And furthermore, this idea of blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins is archaic to say the least!! I mean to sacrifice a poor defenseless animal and tip its guts out for a sin sacrifice or a human sacrifice (jesus) is twisted and brutal. The main reason why you cannot be saved by your own good works and good behavior, is that the system was not set up like that. Salvation is not based on merit. Any sin at all is way too much, and we all sin, so none of us merit God’s mercy. Absolution from just punishment for sin can be achieved only via our acceptance of the vicarious self-sacrifice of Yeshua on our behalf, who took upon himself the punishment for the sin of which we all are guilty. The animal sacrifices of the Temple services all pointed ahead to the only truly acceptable sacrifice - that of the only begotten Son of God.

With all due respect, Mr. Morgan and Dr. Brown, the reason by which knowledgeable Jews reject the Christian claim of Jesus being the Tanach-prophesied Messiah is rather simple. According to Tanach/Judaic Bible/Hebrew Scriptures/Old Testament, the world will know when the Messianic Era arrives. It will be radically/graphically opposite from the world we’ve ever experienced. There will be world peace and universal worship of God, as in the God of the Patriarchs, Prophets, and Israel. The problem here is that you believe that God is unjust. How can a loving God punish people eternally in hell? If I designed a robot, gave it an ability to make decisions even though they were theoretically deterministic, if the robot stepped out of line, I would put it down, but I would not recreate it and make it suffer eternally for the things it did. For example, think of Lazarus and the rich man. Why couldn't the rich man suffer the amount of pain that he caused Lazarus and be destroyed to the point of not existing (going back to non-existence that took place before his birth). That's why a God that is just is the one to follow. There is a great video called "The Greater Insult", featuring a muslim, christian, and an atheist meeting God after dying.
