Ok this video is actually insanely well made and I respect it a lot. Basically everything works, and even the music somehow just, all fits into the video and doesn't have any jarring transitions, like I hardly even noticed when you changed the song in the background. And the explanations are simple but basically tell everything you need to know

I did this 8 years ago before realising optimizing reduces performance for mobile ... so if you don't know exactly how the game handles different things you kinda screw things up ... but yeah when you put love into the craft you kinda need to understand the inner workings of stuff and that's always a good thing for your learning curve

Honestly I clicked on this video not really expecting much of a GD video, but it was very well-made and covered an interesting topic! One suggestion I do have though is maybe you could add "(and you should too)" to the title because it makes people want to know why they should do the same thing and makes them curious. Just a title suggestion. The video was great, good job!

How do you remove hitboxes but not the object?
@Jeyzor2 жыл бұрын
some objects have hitboxes, some are completely decorative. if you use decorative objects to make something that resembles a spike for example, you can then add a basic spike and make it invisible with an alpha trigger. This spike is what you delete to remove the hitbox, but not the object.
