Hi Jeff, thanks for making this video. I'm from northern Idaho, but I'm really disappointed that they didn't include the Palouse region in the game. It is iconic as part of northern Idaho and has some of the richest wheat farmland in the US. It should occur after the Lewiston grade around 42:00. In reality, you don't reach the mountains or forested areas for good distance past that point.

I saw your video (and Raptor's) about the Idaho DLC (I lived there for about a dozen years - had to move away for jobs) and I just had to give it a try and I love it! My wife noticed that I actually ended my game session with a smile rather than a 'rage quit.' And I agree completely with Jeff - very relaxing game. BTW - Core Duh Lane (VERY bad spelling, but correct pronunciation!). Thanks for the video!

Definitely love the expansion! They captured Southern Idaho real well. The only thing that is not correct is the “old hospital” in Twin falls is actually on the other side of the road. Also, first and second street in Nampa is actually inverted. Second street in the game is actually first street, and vice Gerda. Other than that, I’m really enjoying seeing Idaho finally in game. They captured Southern Idaho to a T. The only thing here is Sage brush, sand, and the Snake River. Great place to live though!

hey Jeff, the weight stations are doing inspections btw, because (in-game) if you are too heavy (above 300,000+ gross) or have damage on you truck/trailer you will get a fine. I learn that the hard way, had 10% damage on my truck and fined got $300. Great video keep the great work.

Hey Jeff! No hate, just wanted to bring something to your attention that you maybe didn't know about. When you stop at a weight station, they don't usually just check your weight. They also check your drivers logs, CDL License to make sure you are driving the appropriate truck with the appropriate weight that you have your CDL for as there are different classes of CDL. They also check your load documents and such. So when they say "inspection" its because they are inspecting your documents as well to make sure you are following DOT regulations. Love your videos man, not ever gonna stop watching because of a certain reason. Strong support over here from Colorado. Keep up the good work!

Ah, the other route north. I always take 95 up from Fruitland, so I'm not familiar with 55 (the first 15 minutes or so). As for 95, WOW is 95 compressed. I'm rather annoyed they didn't include Riggins. Why? Because it's probably one of the most memorable parts of the drive due to being so frustratingly slow at 25 mph for what feels like ages! The bridge is there, though. I just wanted all the players to feel my pain. 95's been closed for a few days near Riggins due to rock fall. Whitebird being only 2 lanes is odd (it's a much, much longer grade), but the feel is about right-they nailed the cut at the top. Truck stop in Grangeville is perfect-I stopped there once for wiper fluid, found I was missing my oil cap (the underside of the hood was a right mess). Lewiston grade looks about right. I'd say the lack of Moscow is downright criminal, though (but forgivable if they include Pullman on the WA side of the border). They include Grangeville, a town of 3200, and leave out Moscow, a town of 25800 or so (both on 95), completely skipping the Palouse region (maybe modeling rolling hills of wheat scares them)-maybe when this finally releases they'll include Pullman OR Moscow (8 miles apart IRL, combined population of about 60,000-double that of Lewiston). They modeled the turnoff in Spokane, so maybe-and there would be a turn right after the Lewiston grade connecting to WA. CDA is about right, as is Sandpoint.

You don't need a mod to avoid having to decide which load parking option you want - you can select it as a default in the options menus. Personally I keep the choice dialogue option - sometimes (e.g. If running late on a delivery) it is better to use the "I am in a hurry" instant drop option rather than bleed away money running up a bigger late penalty whilst doing the "Where do you want it" most challenging drop location.

this game is really relaxing seeing the beautiful scenery seeing the trucks and cars being rolled across the road not forgetting all the details of each of the buildings and houses. It's a shame that during the journey you can't put on the music of your choice to give the immersive side like grand theft auto. Another thing why this game does not allow you to create your own character you could get out of your truck and walk around and admire the landscape of the place.
