Great video as always and congrats on hitting 16k subs. You really deserve it. Also thanks for getting me into 3d printing over a year ago. Just passed 100 subs myself. Always looking forward to your streams!

@nerys I had a similar problem on my current printer where there would be times where the layers would seem to be extruding too much and then later would barely print one layer, and then continue working fine. This ended up being heat creep that only reared it's head every once in a while. I attached the hot end cooling fan better to the upper end and it works fine now. So it could be inadequate cooling for the hot ends themselves.
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
Definitely not heat creep with the jet turbines they are using for fans :-) hehehe

Hey If i didn't know any better I would say you waited for the campaign to be over before posting this video!! Either way great detailed feedback/suggestions. Thank you
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
Yes I did. I did not want to be an influence positive or negative on their campaign. that would be irresponsible. The live stream contains 100% of this information but its "mixed in" this video is "ALL" feedback and analysis. to a new user unfamiliar with such videos this can come off unduly negative in nature when that is not its intent or purpose.
@3dcreations4564 жыл бұрын
@@nerys71 honestly, I think it would it would of been fine if you released it before the campaign ended. Negative or positive, everyone should be able to make a judgment on what they choose to agree or not. I've seen some reviewers get bashed on for finding flaws, some would say, well that's only an exception "as mine didn't have any problems". Withholding info isn't always a positive, maybe for the company's but not anyways good for consumers to find out info late to make an informed decision. None the less, great information.
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
@@3dcreations456 like I said nothing was withheld everything in this video exists in life stream as well the problem with this videos of formatting if you watch it out of context you'll think it's a very negative video and that is my responsibility
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
@@3dcreations456 That's not how it works though. and since "I KNOW" that is not how it works its dishonest of me to abuse that. Once again. I will reject this every time you say it. I did not withhold any information. you are wrong to say so. 100% of this information was in a previously released video (but under a different CONTEXT that would not automatically be seen as negative by many end users) THIS video could be seen as PURELY negative (that is how many lay people see analysis/feedback videos when they don't understand what they are ie context) from the perspective of a non knowledgeable person the entire video is "negative" because I am talking about only things that need to be fixed even though its not INTENDED to be negative in fact my opinion of the machine is very positive (which I also tend to not focus on for the very same reason) My objective is to bring information to people without bias and let them draw their own conclusions without any agenda or bias on my part. THIS VIDEO is biased by the nature of what it is especially if its not understood what it is.

On the crap bed springs, I love the FYSETC Silicone stand offs. I have them on 3 Creality printers. Still get a little give for nozzle crashes and what not, but does not allow a lot of bed movement vs. springs. I don't know why they aren't more popular, but ill never use springs on a bed again.

I think the primary reason is that the quality control and precision of the parts would have to be better in order for solid mounts to work properly and abl would have to be better implemented

Good video, i like the printer but the front control panel faceplate is ugly and makes the printer look cheap, they really should improve that

There is a pro version that, for an additional $85, you get an upgraded full color touch screen panel, as well as optical endstops and a few other bells and whistles.

Is there a slicing mode for making both heads work at one big print at once for twice the speed? Maybe with an adjustable overlap in the middle, which offsets each layer, for better print stability..
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
Sadly that is not possible because while the heads are independent they have a shared y axis so they can only move independently on x this is why I duplication and mirroring are possible because the Y movements are the same

Hi can you do a review between the TL-D3 PRO vs JGMAKER ARTIST-D
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
What is the TLD 3 Pro? Keep in mind I can't afford to just buy printers they would have to send me one for me to do a comparison
@mr.simulator47244 жыл бұрын
@@nerys71 Its basically the same 3d printer spec wise with a few minor differences like glass hotbed. You could just buy it on amazon, do a review and comparison and then just return it back to amazon. I call it review on a budget. There are barely any videos of it because it also just came out not long ago. I want to know if I should get that one or preordeer this jgmaker
@dariogabriellipicar95714 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video! I'd love to see more while I wait for my Artist-D to arrive! Do you believe the inconsistent extrusion might be related to what Kersey Fabrications found? (kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5XOhaiQZbtkmcU). Some people were worried that the "Nozzle Eject" system might be affecting the heat transfer from the heatblock to the heatbreak+nozzle. Perhaps some Boron Nitride Thermal Paste would help with that.
@nerys714 жыл бұрын
He has not concluded anything yet (though he has dived the deepest into it) my issue is virtually not their. in fact the only reason I really noticed it was because I was looking for it after watching his video. I suspect its just a slight design and or QC issue since its not consistent from machine to machine. HIS has consistent under-extrusion. mine do not.
@jasonhurdlow66072 жыл бұрын
I ordered two of these a couple days ago, and then just today I saw that video. I'm pretty angry that I might have just been ripped off. A minor thing like extrusion slipping could ruin this otherwise amazing printer. How is yours fairing?
