Jimmy, Thank You for sharing about Chris Saying Prayers for her , I understand what you are saying. I lost my wife Mary Lynn passed away on November 24th at 9:15 am from a infectionand Leukemia,she had sent me home on Saturday and noon she said that I needed to go home we lived about 3 hours from Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. . Saturday evening she called a pastor friend and talked to him for a hour or longer, and knew that she was going to Heaven. Our son James and Lauren his fiancee' were driving in from Odessa, Texas that's were job is about 19 hours and they missed her by 47 minutes and I was on the way back to Vanderbilt when the doctor called and asked me if I was driving he asked me to pull over and he told me , not to speed , I didn't stop but one time. We met in June of 1984 and were married in September 6,1996 we were married for 28 years and known each other for 40 years. We Pray in the morning and night for Chris, You and Family and Apache and His Family. Please keep my family in your Prayers too. I've had surgery on both shoulders one when I was 45 years old and then again at 50 years old. God Bless Y'all Tim , Kaylynn, James, Lauren.

I know exactly how you feel, I believe, Tim. When I came back to this house after the doctor told me Chris would probably not leave that hospital alive, I’ve never felt so lonely God kept Chris alive but that feeling is one I’ve never known. I’m not afraid to die but I am afraid of her dying. I know both will happen and Praise God, He has prepared a place for us to live together forever!! I understand that fear. My husband of 35 years passed 3.5 years ago from cancer that took him after a 15 month battle. I knew when it was found he wasn’t going to make it. God had already prepared me. I miss him so much, but God has been so good to me. He has provided in such wonderful ways. It hasn’t been easy and I still struggle some days, but there’s been a lot of joy mixed in with the grief. I have learned so much about myself and what I am capable of doing. Jimmy, like you, I am not afraid of death. It’s simply a transition from this life to the next, leaving the body behind. I tore my extensor tendon in my right arm and my biceps tendon in July 2023. I had elbow surgery to repair the extensor tendon in September of that year. When my shoulder didn’t improve, I had an MRI which revealed I had a slap lesion (labrum cartilage tear) and a biceps tendon that was torn. I had surgery this past February. I am still having pain, but it’s not as severe as before the surgery. I had problems with my biceps tendon for years, so he completely detached it. It caused terrible spasms in the beginning, which thankfully have greatly improved. However, I have a lot of stiffness and trouble holding my arms up for any period of time without pain and weakness. I was lucky I didn’t get the popeye deformity, but I definitely have lost strength. I wouldn’t do the surgery again. The recovery has been rough. I am 59 and can’t imagine going through it at 80. No way would I even consider it.
