I think I'm going to start building pedals, just so I can get some more demos out of Mike. Seriously, you need to get some of your stuff out there. The world is in need of it.

its another Dumbleish pedal: theres some pretty non-Dumble pedals titled or claiming that title around, cheaper and costllier, and then hidden treasures like this MOONSHINE( I actually got it in the Sweet Tea clone, How accidentally cool is that!, after buying JRAD Dude & HRM both the same and too rocky hard, as the Mojohand FX DMBL, even less Dumbly...)), MI Effects Super Blues Pro, Zendrive ( well not hidden...), DOD Looking Glass!!!Mad Prof Simble: My main alwayson ped! even the Simble ( dont get me wrong ive got 3 and theyre not going anywhere...!), thou its named after Dumble a bit , when used first in chain darkish clean isnt so Dumbly, but boy do my other peds after it sound needy without it? they do. and, what I ve looked in a Dumbleish pedal is: warmth, enough lows n round his..., I play mostly strat single coil neck pup n like jazzy bluesy tones n transister amps so I "need" that warmth from a pedal, some get it from a tube amp, good for them! I think Dumble tones with pedals have sumthing to do with FET transistors and clipping..., cause at least my pedals: - Mad Prof Simble( I actually dont know if it has FETS:::) - BOSS OD-3 -MI Super Blues Pro -DOD Looking Glass use FET transistors..., one litlle cheapo is my favourite:Dolamo D-8 ( the softest bass control youve ever heard?!), MOLTO JAZZY! Keep It Up n Jazz on, K 🍹🍹

Smooth blues or chicken pickin' ,that's what this pedal delivers best.

That's cool how there's a wet/dry knob. You don't see that on a lot of overdrive pedals.

Been thinking about this pedal for a while Run it last in your chain or drives before any modulation or delay and you can mix clarity back in even if your not using it for much gain Curious what other pedals have that feature Gonna follow up on this idea

Hey mike in that Suhr what model of Humbucker are you using??
@paulcowart31742 жыл бұрын
So Mike with pedals trending to having no battery compartment can most of the OD's use that little 9V adapter that connects to a stand alone battery Thanks I'm a big battery proponent as far as fuzz and distortion Even some delays Thanks

Mike do you have a humble opinion or preference between the moonshine vs walrus 385 vs walrus voyager? Thx

But does it tighten up any flubbiness on high gain
@paulcowart31742 жыл бұрын
I would imagine so but usually that comes down anyways in a band mix live

Mark Gover I know, i want to know if it tightens up the low end on some fucking high gain. Been through like 6 videos now...
@MathewsGuitarWorks5 жыл бұрын
jaychen Yes... it’s a tube screamer circuit. Shelves a little bass, bumps mids and shelves a tiny bit of highs. The clean knob is the tits! You can do clean (mid pushed) boost to some pretty good overdrive. It will tighten things up.
@paulcowart31742 жыл бұрын
I hear you man but don't think that this is a good pedal for that approach It has the gain on tap though so you would think I'm looking the other way and wondering if it was last in a chain of drives can it bring some clarity back in and round it out somewhat Cheers
