Having been a proud owner of the GFI Specular Reverb and the Wavelogic II for a couple of years, I am delighted that they are now, at long last, getting the exposure that they deserve. The most underrated pedals in the marketplace in my opinion. I hope Dan/Mick have the time to dip into what the Tempus is truly capable of. Try the reverb algorithms without the delay. Inspiring.

I have to assume someone's mentioned this before, but a Klon (*gasp*) is, at its heart, a highly refined 808 circuit. One of the key differences has to do with the dual gang potentiometer that was used as the gain control....it's a true concentric mixing control. When the gain is all the way down, the clean signal is all the way up. As you increase one you automatically decrease the other, and vice versa. My contention is that even though the JHS Moonshine is meant to emulate that sacred green pedal, it actually affords you the possibility of imitating the other sacred pedal, with astonishing accuracy. You just do the mixing manually, with two knobs instead of one. Great sounding pedal! I do realize this is an old video but it's something worth mentioning, I think. Love the show, boys!

I've had the Specular Tempus for about 7 months now and it is amazing! It has kicked Eventide Space and Pigtronix Echolution 2 off my board with no regrets. It does everything well. I never use the presets. I always create my own with the software. So, if you like it simple this is not for you😔 I paired this with a MIDI switcher (MIDI Commander) and I am in heaven. It actually will keep 32 presets and it has at least 32 algorithms. They also are still giving support updates too. From mild to wild this is the stuff.

Hi Guys, What a great idea with Tue's Pick'N'Mix. It really makes my Tues better. However some word of criticism... Please don't rush. It creates impression that you must do something. I really like when you doing your things without any stress and rush. I really like when Dan start talking about pedals. Mick please do not stop him. This is part of this channel. And I do not know why you stressing this 30 min. The best episodes were when you guys talked and very often make digressions about everything. If you want keep it short edit it and cut it out the not necessary rush talking. I hope you understand my point and I still love TPS.

+Jacek Sikora We can’t run these videos too long Jacek. We know that some people like em long, but a whole swathe of other people don’t. Love the show. Have you guys considered doing an episode on comparing the very inexpensive pedals such as Joyo to their original counterparts? Would love to hear your thoughts.
@ThatPedalShow7 жыл бұрын
+Rustocaps Hello! We do it from time to time in context. So for example if we’re doing flangers we’ll throw in the Mooer Elec Lady alongside an original Electric Mistress and so on. What we don’t do is the ‘cheap vs expensive’ approach for two main reasons. First, that’s kinda what most other channels do because they think that’s what’s important. And relatedly, second, Dan and my only questions are about what inspires you the most. If you’re asking ‘is this nearly as good as that for half the money’ then the answer is almost always yes. The first 75 per cent is easy to cover and the vast majority of other gear demos on KZbin deal with that. The last 25 (5?!) per cent is what TPS is all about. Thanks for watching!
