@jordandangelo1803 жыл бұрын
I actually was wondering so thank you. Nothing like some good 6L6’s. Most tubes with names that contain a 6 are awesome. 6L6, KT66’ 6V6... are 3 of my all time favorite tubes. Then again I love my old Marshall with EL34’s and my Orange’s EL84’s and my Fender with 6V6’s...so I guess I love all tubes. Great sounding amp btw. Edit * oh and the EF86 channel! Awesome man...

@@Creationmusiccompany Actually, I do! I found your site and boards from an old KZbin video on your channel where you guide viewers through the process of screwing in a Walrus Audio Phoenix power supply to the underside of the board. I see that you've switched from wood to aluminum for the main panel of the board since then. Is there still an option for affixing that power supply somewhere similarly discreet?
@Creationmusiccompany3 жыл бұрын
@@cameronmoore7675 Yea, so back when we made that first video, we weren't too familiar with dual lock. 3M Dual Lock holds insanely well and 2 strips the length of your power supply is all you need. No brackets, no screws, universal fit.

It's very interesting how few of his own pedals he uses, I would imagine the temptation would be to showcase all of your latest pedals to encourage sales, but he's very open and genuine about just using what he likes using. Impressive.

That's how he sucks you in & the next thing you know you're playing his pedals too, because you've bought three of them. We could call it "modest marketing" which is teetering on oxymoronic, making it even more marketable in a complete mindfuck kind of way.

I had a band named Chill Factor. We got the name from a out door gig ,33 degrees,misty rain and a slight breeze from the north. We were under a 10 X10 pop up canopy. We did have little electric space heater that caused a buzz in our sound and was about as warm as a dogs breath.The Persian rug we were standing got soaked. Someone found plywood for us to stand on. Got paid 500.00. Good times.

Very cool episode guys with a nice chilly vibe and a very - very nice board build from Addison indeed ! Now for a slight-off-topic-record-time-remark: the Synesthesia mod. pedal reminds me of the the awesome band The Black Angels , a psych rock band from Austin , Texas. They have a song called "I Hear Colors" . The song is about chromaesthesia, a from of synesthesia in which non-visual stimulation results in the experience of color sensations ...

Try showing people how much fun you can have a budget again, for now I have a Sonicake Multi Guitar Effect Strip "Sonicbar Rockstage" and a classic overdrive both cheap from amazon. I run into my classic over driver first but using as a boost then into the $80 Sonicbar and have the gain set to 9oclock as a cleaner but slight hint of dirt, and then you get reverb, chorus, delay free to play with lol And I run it all into a cheap home theater dvd system I got from Canaidian tire 15 years ago. It's like 4 pedals + boost for under $150CAD and a free "amp" lol
