Heavens above, this was one of the best videos Lee and the crew have done...It's very clear that this was a 'from the heart' video, with Pete, Mick and the regular Andertons guys, plus the fantastic video editor chappie (we should all know him, many thanks for all your hard work!) making this a very and informative and heartfelt video to watch,. How grateful Lee is to Dan for his unmatched pedal expertise, and making the correct decisions for Lee's pedal choices. This video reminds me of how grateful Greg Howe was to Dan for fixing his pedal board...I'm whelmed (but not overly, ha ha!) :) On a technical note the editing and pace of the video was as good as the BBC...and I don't say that lightly. Simply great, many thanks to all the hard working chaps behind the scenes. :)

40:28 - Best sound I've ever heard on this channel. I really wish more of the room sound was included more often. You can actually hear the air in the amp, rather than the stifling close mic sound. As a live player, this makes a huge difference.

I agree, maybe if they came up with a blend of a close mic and the room (favoring the room, but still having a bit of that close mic), it would be an excellent demonstration mix. In the Sounds Like vids, I think it makes more sense to have the mix heavy on close mics, just cause that’s closer to what they’re trying to emulate.

This is the best Andertons video I've seen in a while. No impression of reaching for ideas to create a video, interesting comments and a good range of pedals rather than just the current fashionable thing. To be fair; Lee's playing is much closer to my interests than Rob's, and hearing from someone who knows his stuff, but isn't approaching it from an "I'm a professional who needs a touring rig" is also a nice change. And Dan is obviously also worth listening too. Could we have more "This is on my board from other Andertons people? Maybe beyond the 'usual suspects' of Rob and Pete (not knocking them, but let have a slightly less 'professional musician' perspective maybe).

Great video of Dan doing his magic. I have the original Pro 14 and it has transformed the complexity of doing the tap dance into a blissful effort of ease and control. The Captain will be sailing into a journey of routing effectiveness with his new pedal-ship as he charts his way into the deep waters of signal manipulation. Also, I would like to make a request /suggestion for one which discusses and showcase the differences between the stock vacuum tubes that amplifiers are equipped with today and those from the 50's, 60's and 70's that are categorized as New Old Stock (NOS). Perhaps you could cover the EL34, EL84, 6L6, KT88, 6550, 6CA7 power tubes and the 12AX7,12AT7, ECC83 pre-amp tubes. Comparisons between the modern day Russian Sovtek , JJ Electronics, Mullard, Electro-Harmonics, Genalex, Northern Electric, GT Groove Tubes, Telefunken, Tungsol, etc. and the old vintage Amperex Bugle Boy, Telefunken, Siemens, RCA, Philips, Raytheon, Siemens, Tung-Sol, Sylvania, GE/JAN, Tesla, Svetlana.I think your viewers would very much appreciate a bit of a tutorial on the subject.I have experimented with replacing todays stock tubes with NOS tubes and the improvement in amplifier tone is amazing which for me justifies the cost of NOS tubes. The magic of that old vintage tube sound from the 50's, 60's and 70's definitely has something to do with those vintage tubes. I'm sure you can still find some vintage Mullard tubes that were manufactured in the famous Blackburn tube plant of Great Britain: Video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3jKiHyiq954gpo

I do have to say that the Tonespot cs12 is a great power supply, with true isolated power outputs, with enough power to drive those pedals on the boards. I hear Mick saying in the background 'it's the power' as reason for the pedals sounding better. It's the way the Quartermaster set-up works, by only including the pedals you want in the signal chain. Also, cables made at length, and power cables made at length, make a difference for a large board.
