I love that 1. it's got 4 pickups, and 2. there's a lipstick on there. I had a Strat that I modified with a single-sized humbucker in the bridge (I think it was an SD Hot Rails pickup), a cheap Guitar Fetish lipstick pickup in the middle, and a vintage-style single coil in the neck. It had a crazy variety of sounds, and the lipstick was always one of my favorites to play around with, it just had a great sound to it. Especially in the middle, which I would have otherwise almost never used because it wasn't the bridge or the neck. With the lipstick in there, it totally changed the sound and made me love it!

@jaybirdk74142 жыл бұрын
“Good rhythm” is sorely under-emphasized in technical guitar studies. The ability to play sixteenth notes rapid-fire with sixteenth rests is technically more demanding than playing sloppy eighth notes with residual noise. If you’re a rhythm player, this is both gospel and second nature.

I've always found it odd that your company is also called JHS (obviously your name) but has there been any confusion/conflict with it? I remember the pedal sounded just like the Park - more overdrive than fuzz (and it was blue too..) :-)

Some fans try to help him out, by doing a benefit concert, and filmed what his daily life was life. He had no health insurance, living in poverty, and had no idea how many people loved his music. He ended up not being able to play during the benefit, as the situation became too much for him. He had some family that seemed to really be trying to help him, and he made it to 71, so maybe they did.

@DJG0165 жыл бұрын
hey I have one and love it but be warned, the preamp is always on meaning the input volume and bass/treble controls will always affect the signal. Unity gain(not clipping) is about 11o'clock on the input volume knob, and there is a little bit of white noise in the preamp that is always on. These are all characteristics of the original tape echo that they were modeling and they can be really useful but they can also be problematic if they dont play well with the pedals/amp/guitar around it so be advised. If you want to avoid the constant affect on your tone you'd have to use a switching device of some sort.
