Now a days SOC requirement/knowledge Infrastructure, firewalls routing switching Cloud( all types of vendors) Programming PS, PY, SHELL, GO, RUST etc SAST, DAST Terraform Dockers, kubes Block chain sec All types of SIEM, SOAR IR EDRs ML Windows,Mac,Linux,Mainframes On top of this management pressure, tickets, ISO... Common, there is a limit for humans to do.. Humans are not like Dr. Strange... Companies want all these to be expert in 1 person....
