Yes, Rajang is the kind of mini-boss that randomly shows up, beats the living shit out of you, your friends, family, favorite monsters and the game's final boss all at once only to leave afterwards without elaborating. Damn saiyan monke, my friend is still traumatized, the idea of having to fight it again in Rise makes him shit so many bricks we could build a skyscraper.

Tell him not to worry. Rajang got all tuckered out from rampaging through Iceborne and they fed him a bunch of rice dumplings and sent him off to nap. When you see that Rajang is the invading monster on a Rise hunt, you should be happy, not frightened. He's really one of the best weapons to use against the other monsters, just infinite kamehamehas.

sadly rajang is tamer in rise, you can no hit it with ease if you really wanted to thats how slow he feels

Arch Tempered Velkhana's theme (Iceborne's End) is my favorite theme in the franchise, it takes the original Velkhana theme (Splendiferous Silver Sovereign) and adds in aspects that make it sounds like the end of a journey, which it is. It's really beautiful, would love to see your take on it!

Is that the one at the Elders Recess? Cause I’ve only completed a single hunt for that one n I was so focused on the hunt and not dying that I didn’t really hear the music lol. Thank god I had a Hunting Horn on my side he literally carried me with his heals lol

probably my favorite hunt is Alatreon, it's one of the very last ones but it has an extremely unique and tough fight and a sick OST. Had a lot of fun hunting it with my friends in the summer when it first came out, and managed to solo it a little bit later. It also let me use items and strategies that you normally don't have to think about, which was really cool

Monster hunter themes always have a "fairy tale moment" in them, that's the moment were you're in awe of what's happening, in awe of the monster, of the place, you feel enchanted by what's going on, the music is just extraordinarily well made for this game... very little others come close.

If you enjoyed Zinogre so much, check out its Mount Theme. Goes from an orchestra focus with a drum and guitar playing with it, to a rock/metal emphasis with the orchestra tagging along.

Monster Hunter just has great music in general. The older games have amazing music aswell, the themes arent as lengthy as worlds compositions and dont have access to full orchestration, but theyre still great. Pieces like "To One With Life", "A Lonely Tune" and "Cedeus Theme" are really moving imo and then theres just a whole bunch that really fit the monsters like: the Magala Medley, Amatsu's theme, Dire Miralis theme, Gogmazios theme and many many more

My favorite monster is Bazelguese, I just love the boi invading. I don't know why, in a way I found it cute after a while, helping me in my hunts! So I love hunting it too, I always try to catch it. Also love your analaysis of Rajang's theme, you perfectly captured the essence of how it feels to fight it lmao

Fatalis is by far the best monster. Because it is the hardest fight, The scenery is Great, the introduction scene is great and the music is by far the best part of the fight. And it is so big that he got two or three fighting themes.
