Even for Japan, this short section between Enoshima and Koshigoe is something special (along with a similar section on the Keishin line in Kyoto). It kinda looks like a tram line, but is in fact a railway line and has the absolute right of way.

Every time I see these videos of towns in Japan it makes me want to go play a Yakuza game on my playstation! ❤ These towns always look so cozy! Oh.. I guess I better comment on the accident.. I'm guessing it's the cars going over the safety line or the lady crashing into the bushes with her umbrella at 1:41!

This looks like a good Model for small Indian towns with narrow streets. They should emulate this.

India cannot adopt to this kind of setup because upbringing and moral values lack because why such things will never adopt in India. It will remain as it is. 😷🤒
if you look towards the station before pulling the emergency brake there was a man/woman trying to cross on the tracks

when the train was about to enter the station, you can see a lady with an umbrella trying to get into the station on the left. The train blared the hor and did an emergency stop. You can see the station conductor scolding her.

Roads are so narrow! Would be very difficult to suggest that a new tramway could ever go down a road which was even a bit wider than these!
Oh Japan, you function so perfectly that you have no idea what accident is.
