I have to say, it's seriously sweet/endearing to watch a Vtuber talk with her overseas fans, even though she's not fluent in their language, simply because she wants them to enjoy her content as well. Jagaimo is legit one of the weirdest japanese word, at least in etymology, so the chat is kinda correct. It's derived from Jagatara (Jayakarta/Jakarta) Imo. Jakarta's Tuber. Potato was introduced to Japan through shipment from Dutch Colonial East Indies (now Indonesia) from Batavia/Jayakarta's port (now Jakarta)... Hence the name. Imo is basically japanese word for tuber plants. I find this fact funny and interesting as Indonesian.
