This is exactly the feeling I get after achieving recognition for my academic success. I get acknowledged and rewarded from the public and feel excited for less than an hour. Subsequently, I ponder what it all means and where we will all end up. I always come to the same conclusion - we will all end up in a narrow space beneath the ground barely wide enough to fit our medals and much loved possessions. (This does not mean I do not value my worldly achievements. I will continue to work hard academically but also spiritually for success in this life and the next Inshaallah).
