Jig Walk - it's Complicated :/
Shout out to Laura Glaess for her excellent video on this "lost basic" of Lindy Hop, and to Margaret Batiuchok for making her thesis work available.
This is the first of a series of four jig walk videos, and we'd love it if you'd check them all out :)
A note on the name of this step: Frankie Manning called it the "jig walk" (or "jig kicks" in some variations), and we want to honour that name. Having said that, "jig" can also be short for "jigaboo", which is a racist slur… so, yeah, it's complicated ;)
