This brings back memories. My grandpa used to clean them by the dozens and then we would batter them up and fry them in a fry-daddy to have with dinner. He would then always take a small bite of yellow onion slice and a bite of fish dipped in ketchup. He lived a long long long life and I honestly think the Crappie was why

I keep up with your family and love all the great recipes that I have learned to share with my friend da and family that don't get a chance to watch your videos. We went crappie fishing today had 9 keepers and it was 35° some people call us stupid but i enjoy it. Back 2 years ago my dad caught the lake record crappie it was 19 inches long. Awesome family fun day slaying slabs. My pawpaw would only use a cane pole when we would go fish when I was a kid. There are even times when I'm out trout fishing I can still smell his Prince Albert cigarettes he would roll. Now I'm a paw paw showing my grand daughter's how to fish n hunt.
