Yes, but not all of them. In fact, running a VM in a VM can stop the hop, but some viruses and malware can infinitely jump. Think of like how all of your computers at home are connected. SOME viruses can hop to other computers connected. Theoretically, I know of 1 virus that can hope more then once. So just run a VM in a VM if you're scared.

Muta, I just had a virus destroy my computer and I'd like you to investigate it if possible. I feel like if anyone can dig up info on it, it'd be you. See, the thing is, while it was happening, before it totally corrupted my boot file or whatever and made it impossible to get in to the computer, it was running three programs constantly: "Delicatessens", "Prolix" and "searchcrt.exe". (I also noted at one point one of these programs was located inside a folder named "Nadel".) The thing is, when I Googled these, I found nothing. Days later now after reinstalling Windows and losing all my shit, having to start from scratch, I've checked every day and still can't find any info on this shit. It's like it doesn't exist. It must be brand fucking new or something but it REALLY fucked over my computer and I don't fully understand how or why. It wasn't ransomware, it was more like adware I guess because the Delicatessens program would try and pop up windows that played ads in them. I have no idea what the other two programs were doing. I would kill their processes then delete the program file but it would always regenerate and I don't know what process was regenerating them or anything. So... yeah. It's too late for my computer, but I'm still so confused and curious about this virus that wrecked my shit and I feel like if anyone is up to the task of finding out about this shit, it's you. Please help. ❤️

I live in Columbus Ohio. Only call centers here i know of is a debt collection one and Teleperformance. And Teleperformance does Verizon fios tech support. They did cricket wireless at one point too.
