Jihadism ravaged Europe with the rise of ISIS and the proclamation of the Islamic State in 2014. 347 people fell victim to jihadist terrorism on the old continent in 2017, the highest numbers since the Madrid bombings in 2004 and the London bombings in 2005.
Europe managed to subdue them, but the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has triggered a radicalisation that is knocking on Europe's door in the form of a second wave of jihadist terrorism. However, a new and elusive actor may derail a new European victory: the "lone wolf".
How has Europe managed to combat the wave of jihadism that swept through Europe a few years ago, and are we really facing a new wave of jihadist terrorism on the old continent? Why might new forms of jihadism pose a greater risk to Europe than previous ones?

Europe has gone way too soft on crime if it’s committed on Muslims. Hell, in France in 2017, Jewish retiree Sarah Halimi was murdered by her Muslim neighbor, who proceeded to yell that he “killed the shaitan”. When the murderer was taken to trial, he simply claimed that he had smoked a lot of weed before doing it, and in 2021 he was deemed not criminally responsible for the murder because he was high. Can you fucking imagine any other situation where “because I got high” would give you an automatic pass for a cold-blooded murder with a hate crime motivation?

Christianity did not go through a reform in the middle ages like how you think it did, in fact the protestant reformers were usually much more radical, strict and honestly speaking more in line with modern ISIS doctrine than what you might expect. In fact Islam is going through this "reformation phase" Groups like ISIS are reformed, and are competing with other reform groups to dominate the religion. You yourself seem pretty ignorant, but for someone with knowledge: think Calvinist vs Lutheranist, or even Munsterites (15th century Christian equivalent of ISIS lolll) vs Cathies.

As an Iranian who was born in the USA and now lives in Sweden, I know that the problem is Islam. That is what forced my family to flee Iran, and the fact is that Islamic ideology is fundamentally incompatible with other societies, especially the West which was built around strong personal freedom and the open discourse of ideas. Ironically, in order to have a tolerant society, you cannot tolerate intolerance. What makes recent events especially concerning to me is that many in the West have been brainwashed by the global jihad this time around. They even believe that "Palestinians" (Muslim Arabs) are indigenous to Israel, the millennia-old Jewish homeland! The jihad could not defeat us with violence, so they have pivoted to waging an ideological war. Just like the Islamic "revolution" brainwashed students and young people, I see the same warning signs all across the West in North America and Europe. They have completely bought into the propaganda and completely ignore how backwards Islam and its believers are. They even join the terrorist supporters in protests. We must not give in to the terror of Islam, and this must be dealt with!

The European thought they could import cheap labor the way America imports cheap labor however the vast difference is that American cheap labor has compatibility culture unlike the European cheap labor who have no compatibility culture with any European country. You won't let them stay in their own countries, so they have to go to other countries as refugees. The only countries that took refugees are: Jordan, but mostly only Palestinians Turkey, but mostly only Syrians and they are sent to a warzone anyway. The EU, which treats them like shit before and after asylum is granted. The only asylum seekers that are treated well are the fake refugees. In one way or other, a lot of middle Eastern countries were invaded by the west. Think Syria, iraq, Iran, Afghanistan. Also most Arab countries don't take Arab refugees. It's not that weird, most European countries didn't take kosovan/Serbians refugees, for example Hungary. The middle East isn't a single country. If you want to get rid of middle Eastern refugees, you have to stop the cause, not the symptoms.

The previous migration. I'm Singaporean. As conservative as they come. We have 4 national languages and the various groups (mostly) get along. That said, the credit for good relations is largely down to how Singapore is governed. The country takes no crap and it keeps the people in line. Unfortunately some Europeans I've had 'friendly' discussions with have criticised this approach as oppresion and human rights abuse. Perhaps its time for the West to revisit their definition of abuse and how that's balanced with keeping their own citizens safe from those who seek to abuse those rights. Fun fact - Israel helped Singapore develop our national army back in the day. Singapore faces similar challenges to Israel (small countries with little natural resources surrounded by Muslim countries who want to kill us, which has forced us to be innovative to survive). We are always more cautious about Malaysia than Indonesia. While sg does not step on the toes of these 2 countries but Malaysia has been a troublesome neighbor to deal with post COVID. Otherwise sg relationship with Indonesia is great so far.

The aid is controlled by Israel and the fact that they only let in so little makes the people of Gaza starve. Israel doesn’t care about life and humanity they just want to subjugate the Palestinians. Hamas gets their infrastructure from already destroyed and no longer operating pipes and the tunnels that they so called built “using aid” was actually done mostly by Israel. The notion that Hamas and ISIS aren't friends is completely misleading. Many people in the West under-appreciate the mentality of "I and my brother are against my cousin, I and my cousin are against the stranger.". They might have internal disputes, but they are part of the same global ideology. Moreover, despite being close to destruction in Gaza, Hamas has shown that it has global connections and capabilities that can be exploited for global terrorism. Once they are out of Gaza, they will probably move to rebuild their base abroad, and could very well carry out attacks in Europe. Europe didn't "prevail" against radical Islam in the past, as the video claims, but just bought them off for a while.

There are contradictions and periods where rulers have gotten passages altered and removed in it. The present compilation of it is very recent too. @@ItsMeChillTyme i’m not sure if you’re being serious or just trolling, but assuming the former; the whole argument is refuted by the Birmingham copy of the Quran. It’s carbon dated to the period of the Prophet, 1400 years ago, and is ad verbatim match of today’s quran. The Quran was standard aince it’s very beginning. I hope you take some time and reading the very 2 chapters. But remember decryption key is sincerity and humility, without those you won’t get the deeper meanings.

Same thing different century welcome to the response of those "evil" crusades its just in modern times and an afghan war. Seeing as if christainity united well we all know how that would go so it be wise to keep it peacefull europe need coheisive military deterence on a united front participation of all a few ships per nation to shoulder the burden maybe america wouldnt mind nato so much then we gradually level up

"Evil" crusades? Don't make me laugh. The crusades were in response to raids by Islamic slavers on Mediterranean coasts. But the Islam apologists ignore those dirty little details. Ironically, Richard Lionheart and Saladin came to mutually respect each other. Makes you wonder how much different the world would be had their two houses been united as proposed before a sniper's arrow killed the King of England.
