PS1, Saturn, SFC, PSP are your choices for this one. SFC doesn't have all the extras of this one, but Saturn, PSP, and PS1 are all very much the same, save for the Saturn not having the accident stages (which IMO were not needed, but can be turned off).

SFC version is still good, but plagued by slowdown, these versions (this here PS1 version, the Saturn version, and the PSP version Parodius Portable) on the 32 bit consoles had little to no slowdown, and had more animations in the backgrounds than the SFC version had. Of course the SFC version had it's own share of little background touches, and different bosses in the boss rush. The bosses in the PS1, Saturn, and PSP versions of course had the same attacks as their SFC counterparts.

@@Bloodreign1 Indeed, for me it was a shock to see the ACTUAL Big Core Mk.1 (a Dog House in the Ps1/Saturn version and PSP port... which is more what I would have expected compared to the SNES version) AND the Goemon's Horo Temple Ghost bosses when I played it on the SNES (or in this case... Super Famicom) A shame that the PSP port had to remove the "That's the way" song and a few others from Sexy Parodius if my memory serves me right because... copyright issues (funny thing that the "That's the way" song I like more the SNES version than the Ps1/Saturn rendition, still good anyway, the same goes for a few songs selected in the game as well, overall I like more the Ps1/Saturn versions of most of the songs or tied with the SNES).

@@PikangsFutaba I hated the music changes, hence why I'll play my SFC, Saturn, or PS1 versions of all the Parodius games I own (Game Boy one included) over the PSP versions. Some songs are literally public domain and didn't need changing, though That's the Way I Like It is copyrighted. One of the songs changed in Sexy Parodius, the stage where you free the girls from crates, had it's song changed to the song used in the Asian arcade version of Sexy Parodius, a version FULLY in English.
