Jikov carburetor - after overhaul

I've just bought a rare Jikov 2924 M carb, which lasted in production for only months (1958) due to it's over complexity (Czech overengineering at it's finest!!). It was replaced by the 2924 SB/SBD series (1958 to 1998). The 2918 M & 2924 M series carbs were Jikov's first attempt at monobloc carbs. This 2924 M carb would have been attached to an early 1958 Jawa 175-356. Unblocking a main jet of this carb is not easy as the throttle gate slider is inside an inserted sleeve that has to be removed from the carb for access to the main jet, requiring some major disassembly. Probably why late 1958 Jawa 175-356 bikes had the 2924 SB carb fitted. I'm looking forwards to refurbishing the 2914 M carb as it hasn't been used since the early 1960's.

Dobrý deň, zaujímalo by ma, ako ste spokojný s karburátorom po oprave, hlavne čo sa funkčnosti týka, ak už je teda na nejakom motore nahodený :) prípadne či nebol nejaký problém s ním

Za mňa spokojnosť. zatiaľ bez problémov. Aj správne nastavenie bolo o dosť jednoduchšia ako pri 30e TWN karburátore.
