The only thing I fault from Path of Radiance regarding Jill is the stupid literal plot armor they give to Ashnard, that prevents her from putting so much as a scratch on the guy even if she's capped, as she DEMANDS that he acknowledge her father's sacrifice. The rage she expresses when he not only thinks nothing of the man but then presumably has the gall to look away because she can't hurt him is both a twist of the knife for the game not letting her avenge her father directly, while also adding to her character that above all else she still loves her father and the Daein King can suck her Spear.

I've been waiting for this! Jill is probably my favorite character in Tellius for a lot of the reasons you've said. Jill is not a flawless portrayal of how people can recover from prejudices, with regards to being held accountable, but I think the fact it's imperfect and focuses on the very human element of her improving through connection and introspection prompted by that connection is part of what's so good about her? Man, what is it with wyvern riders in FE being often interesting characters.

I remember when Jill was FINALLY added to Heroes there was a small majority of the (newer?)fanbase shitting on Jill for being racist. Glad everyone in the community came through to shut that dumb drama down and her Heroes Forging Bonds even acknowledged her arc too Jill good

Have played through this game probably ten times. Never knew Jill could be recruited by Shiharam because I always had the A or B support and made her kill him

I did this and she didn't defect, I saw the warnings as a "yeah you should totally make her face her father" I read later that even if you don't have A supports, which I didn't, it's only a chance that she actually defects. But hey my Jill stayed and I'm glad because I put so much damn effort into her

I really enjoyed “for who’s sake” playing in the background. Parallels with Altena’s story due to similar relationship with father and role both story and gameplay wise

10:10 "... or B support with Lethe..." Nope, that's false. The game supposedly checks for an A support with Lethe which isn't possible at that point in the game. The B support with Lethe thing is a myth iirc. Also, this only happens on hard mode and not normal mode... I think.
