From one of the FE4 official guidebooks or developer notes: it also states a lore explanation about Forseti breaking dragon code, basically saying that although he could sort of bring Lewyn back from the dead, by divine law, he's not allowed to continue his old life as Lewyn, meaning he cannot really come home as a king or father Which would sorta explain why he never discloses he's his other kid's father and the cold treatment towards Ced & Fee

Another note, i think it was also confirmed that after the war, Lewin... Or rather, Forseti, died.

I believe Lewyn is dead in gen 2 and here is why, taken from the project naga translation of the fe4 ending; Silesse (no heir to the throne) "Seliph loved Silesse as his father once had, and devoted himself to restoring the land. This, he felt, was the least he could do to honor the last wishes of Prince Lewyn, the man who shared his father’s tragic fate, and for Forseti, the warrior of a distant land who nonetheless stayed in this world." The game states that Lewyn dies with Sigurd and Forseti stays behind. Perhaps not definitive proof, but it makes me heavily lean towards the forseti posession theory.

@Reimar Ortiz I think you have to beat the game at least once for that scene to show up in the intro.

My thoughts are that Forsetti possessed Lewyn, with maybe a small bit of Lewyn still in there, which explains why he tears up upon finding out what happened to Tailtiu. And also why he is so cold with Ced and Fee, as the small part of him still left knows he can’t be with them

Bards aren't necessarily musicians, they can be any variety of artist, at least in the D&D sense. You can have a Sculptor Bard!

Maybe it’s just me, but I never saw Lewyn necessarily as a womanizer. Silvia does show to have problems distinguishing kindness from love, and if taken by heart; we don’t reeeally know if he got with her lol. Or if what he meant by “me bard, you dancer”, its that they just worked together in the streets because those are their roles and that’s it. I’m not refuting that he is quite horny or that he may be a “one stand” kind of guy. But I never read so much into the lines to think that they had something or that Lewyn had something with someone else in the game. The most I feel of him is that at the beginning of the game, he most definitely is a charismatic a-hole. Edit: I will never remember to write Lewyn name with a Y xD

Lewyn is a very interesting character considering all the different ways the 2nd gen can play out for him in different pairings. 3:12 Personally I never understood/bought Lewyn's reasoning for leaving his home. I can't help but think that the civil war he hoped to avoid could still happen, just without him there. Doesn't help that conflict breaks out when we get there.

Hold up, no, I will ask why Forseti is using Bragi’s sacred weapon, that doesn’t make any sense- Oh, and he does play music in the Mitsuki Oosawa adaptation, even though you’re right that he never plays any ingame. Also, I’m loving all the Lewyn memes 🤣

I think Lewyn *actually* being dead & being possessed by Forseti makes the most sense & that is because of one reason: Thracia 776 For those unaware, one of the playable characters in Thracia 776 is Ced, one of the 2 children of Erinys... Erynis?... Don't know how it's spelled, ANYWAYS-! My point is that his signature weapon in that game is Forseti, the Holy Weapon of Lewyn's Bloodline... & The only way Ced could *use* Forseti is if his dad is Lewyn... In short, Thracia 776 confirms that Ced's canonical father (& by extension, Fee's canonical father) is Lewyn... Which would also means that Lewyn's moments with Tinee & Silvia's daughter in FE4 are non-canon, thus explaining why Lewyn (or Forseti, rather) acts so differently with THEM as opposed to how he acts with Ced & Fee, where *"Lewyn"* acts like an apathetic ass... Cause that *isn't* Lewyn, the real Lewyn died. By just looking at FE4 alone, that shift in attitude makes no sense... But with Thracia essentially confirming that Lewyn is Ced & Fee's true Father, it makes the shift in attitude make sense... Because Thracia 776 essentially canonizes Lewyn & Erynis This isn't the only case of Thracia 776 confirming a specific pair to be canon, by the way. It also confirmed that Lachesis got to have Delmont (definitely got that one wrong, but screw it) with Beowolf & got to have Nanna with Finn. Why? Because Delmont appears in FE5 & he gets to use the Beo-Sword, a weapon he could only use if his dad is Beowolf. As for Nanna, she refers to Finn as her father. Now this would be alright if Leif did the same since they're essentially being raised together by Finn... But he doesn't, Leif TREATS & SEES Finn as his father, but he doesn't call him that on a regular basis like Nanna does
@oveliaeinsberg98385 ай бұрын
While FE5 was in development for the Nintendo Power release, they accidently leaked Beowolf to be Fergus, Diarmuid and Nanna's biological father. This was later removed because Kaga at this stage did not want anything to be confirmed to let people interpret their pairings in the game to be canon. In FE4, there were two sets of pairing system where one lover route would lead to fathers surviving the Behalla massacre while the other route turned them into stone in the basement of the Yied Castle. Kaga had difficulties implementing this system(as well as the one child randomizer rather than two siblings) so he removed this and we got the system we have today. Speculating that Finn is Nanna's father is entirely plausible. They likely made Lewyn/Erinys canon in FE5 for continuation reasons. There's also unused data for substitute characters. Maybe we were meant to have the lovers carried over from FE4.
