The worst is when someone would say/says “no you’re not fat you’re beautiful!” AWFUL. Also, agreed that at my smallest I was getting the most DM’s and the most people hitting me up and it was always people who ignored me before that time period and then continued to ignore me after my body changed. This episode is so validating for me omg, especially being a fat girl who was in ballet, tap, and hip hop up until college !

I'm a little bit older and it's crazy how I essentially went through the same thing as a child into my younger 20's when I lost a lot of weight. I lost it in a very unhealthy way as well with barely eating and exercising. I couldn't fathom the attention I was getting as well on the dating apps afterward and definitely had the same thoughts about these people wouldn't have gave me the time of day beforehand. I would specifically not respond to those individuals who were physically fit or clearly didn't have the same struggles as I did because I was afraid of them seeing my true body if anything progressed. I love listening to you two and relating so much because it has definitely helped me unpack everything that I went through as well.

The xtina cover at the end 🥹was technically so good, and it actually made me emotional. You sweet boys love each other so much and it’s really cathartic for this fellow chubby gay kid to hear your perspectives with sincere compassion for each other’s traumatic experiences as kids. Its reminding me all the horrible things that happened to me and lead to me shame around my body and taking up space. I feel less alone. I’ve been thinking a lot about body image and weight recently w the ozempic craze and early 00’s fashion coming back to haunt us. I grew up fat and still am but at 32 I couldn’t give a single shit. I married the love of my life. I’ve traveled the world. I birthed 2 humans. My body isn’t broken. It’s just bigger 🤷‍♀️
