Jillian, your my kind of girl! Conflict resolution skills only go so far with some people. Some bullies don't care, & I agree that you need to teach children to defend themselves, & sometimes that may mean they have to be courageous and fight. We're from generation X, & so we would if necessary fight & resolve the issue. Those bullies usually will back down when they see you have no fear of them, & will eventually retaliate.

Jillian is right. In places like schools there are really prison rules. You can not achieve everything there just with words. And the hardest part is always, when you are bullied and your parents teach you at home not to fight back. Heidi is also right in a way.
