@@giocondakissesI love this! I've always hated my fine, thin hair. Even when I'm done up and its just been done I never feel that it looks nice and it really gets me down. Jillz, we WOULD LOVE AN IN-DEPTH VIDEO ON HOW TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS WHILE STAYING IM UOUR FEMININE ENERGY! Also how to work through all these limiting beliefs of “I’m not a business woman, women like me don’t become successful business women, there’s only one way to do it (the typical manly “grind” and someone who went to business school) and that way is simply not for me”. I am a creative writer and ESL corporate trainer and MA student and wanting to reconcile all of these identities and reconnect with my feminine energy. :)

The two are not exclusive. You can be as feminine as you choose to be and still be a business woman. Strong women are feminine. you don't need to wear dresses and heels to be feminine. That is the catch and the misnomer. Women have been taught to think that being in dresses and heels, being demur and submissive = being feminine. that is not true. Take a look at pioneering women and literal pioneer women. Read your own history.
@sea_uh9 ай бұрын
@@gusmonster59 I agree! It has more to do with the way I see myself, I think. And specifically in terms of venturing into a new career in business (without having seen anyone around me do that itms) - but I guess that's why learning about and from other women is more empowering than anything else. Currently reading Cat Bohannon's "Eve: How the Female Body Drove 200 Million Years of Evolution" and not to exaggerate, but it's changing my life. I think starting from our biology and then going from there is such an empowering place in terms of understanding female/women/femininity and how we come to be and it's honestly changing the way I think of myself. That seeps into every aspect of one's life including 21st Century business careers :-)

Last August, I gave up almost all of my material things. I didn't want to be that person anymore. I was stuck. I needed something, new, fresh and most important, ME! I put all of my energy into moving into a new career field, at 48. This field is not anything I have done before. I didn't know anything or anyone in the field but I wanted to be there. I made a lot of space for what I wanted to do, be and present to the world. It was NOT easy. There was a point where I was almost financially broke, because I refused to come from a place of being desperate and just doing whatever instead of focusing on what I really wanted for myself. I moved in silence. I didn't ask or even tell anyone what I was doing. I knew what I needed to do and I just did it.

Hi Jillz, This video means a lot to me. I quit drinking almost four years ago, originally to support a loved one who had an addiction, but I continued because I realized I felt so much better without it. I have a connective tissue disorder, too, and alcohol used to make my symptoms worse. It was difficult to quit when we did because alcohol is so engrained in our culture. But it was so worth going against the grain! I also love that you included trusting your own opinions and instincts about decisions. I have noticed, in following your advice in recent months, how little I am relying on others for their opinion on what I do. It has reduced my stress and made me feel like a friend and confidant to myself. It’s crazy to learn this at 36 years old, but I am so grateful for you and all of your ideas. You are a blessing on this platform. Thank you!

1) My old Identity (my old 'self'. See yourself differently) 2) Stop trading time for money 3) Stop drinking alcohol 4) Asking for too much advice or feedback (trust your own gut) 5) Stopped dressing casual for date night 6) Started taking more risks These are all very good. They are also a part of - be who you are and not what others think you OUGHT to be. I have never liked alcohol. I never drank it. Why drink something I don't like. I took a lot of crap for this when I was younger. But,as I pointed out more than once , why should I drink something I don't like? To impress you? Nope. Sorry. Not here to impress you or anyone else. Chasing money is a waste of time. Yes, money can buy you nice things, but they are just things. You are better off working at something you like. Your entire life will be happier. Asking for feedback is great, but you are not required to take it. Follow your heart/gut/instincts. You can take more than one person's advice by taking the parts that sing to you and combining them. One of the biggest things you can o is to stop, or highly cut back on, screen time and social media. Get your nose out of your phone and look up at life.

Regarding the tip about not asking for too much advice, some of the best advice I ever received actually came from when I was asking all my coworker friends whether or not I should go for a big hair change I’d been thinking about. One friend immediately was like “if you’re asking everyone you know for permission to do it then you obviously already wanna do it so just DO IT” and she was so right. Ever since, I’ve been a lot more honest with myself about things I feel that spark/pull towards, and just giving myself permission to do them as soon as I can identify that gut “yes this excites me and I wanna go for it” feeling instead of analyzing and asking and researching endlessly without making a decision.

Yes, like so many have said already--please, please, please make the business video you mentioned! As someone else mentioned, it would be perfect timing for me as well. I actually love my job, but it's definitely a time=money job, and I'm ready to make a shift to creating value. If I'm going to create the life I want, I need to do something different.

Hi Jill, lovely channel and love your calming encouraging vibe based on experience . Would be gr8 if the main 6 points of the video could be visible more clearly for viewers on timeline or as a breaker slide in video. Helps navigate the video quickly esp when on time crunch . Thanks & please keep doing the grt work 💞 Thank you! :)

A very fascinating video, this brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldn't just let her go i did all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counsellor who helped me bring her back.

Amazing, how did you get a spiritual counsellor, and how do I reach her?

What an amazing inspiring video! Please make a video that goes further into tapping into your intuition and how you can hear your inner gut. Also a video on on earning money by value and not hours! I recently started working self employed, but there is also only trading hours instead of value. I’m kind of stuck of what I could possibly do to learn these things, to make this happen! Would love to hear your advice :)😊

Please do share a video on how to start a business... I have a corporate job that I'm am pretty comfortable with, but my side projects always motivated me so much more! They make me feel so much happier and empowered, but I struggle with making that leap. Would love to get your perspective
