The five things not to do: 1. Try to find a relationship when you're desperate. 2. Never be with a man who pushes you away or gives you the ick. 3. Never create a co-dependent relationship. 4. Never agree to a partner below you. 5. Never suffer in a relationship.

3. Codependency is natural, the thing is to keep balance. This is more like complement each other but be aware of ur individuality and strengths. 5 you will always suffer in one way or the other, ask any happily married couple. It is totally natural it’s actually healthy. The thing is why are u suffering about and if it’s actually breaking u apart then it’s not. Again, it’s a balance bc it cannot all be peace and fun and love. Life and humans have dark sides and they will show up, at some point. Just choose wisely what u want to handle about him IMOOOO

“You need to have options in your life, with or without him. If you have options in your life of where you can go, people you can be with, things you can do…” This is number 1 rule in life. 👏 Always have the option to walk away. Always make sure that you have the financial security, savings, education, your own job/career, friends, family or whatever you need to always, at any time, have options and be able to just walk away from an unsuitable relationship. This way you are always able to reinvent yourself and keep moving forward instead of being trapped in a codependent relationship. With options, anything is possible.

Love this. In a relationship, you should never be in a position where you feel you need to point out the value of your effort, time, and care, to your partner for them to see it. If they make you feel like these things aren't valued and/or reciprocated in their own meaningful ways, then your partner doesn't actually value you. When they make this mistake once, it's a mistake. When they make it again after you expressed your needs, it is then a conscious choice. They are telling you they don't find meeting your needs valuable. I just set boundaries this morning with this. I know my value. I will only engage with men who are capable of meeting me on the depth of emotional intimacy and security I bring, which is significant.

It was always peak when they were clean & then sweat afterward+ whatever nice scented deodorant they wore.mixed w/ Their natural pheromones. I swear my eyes roll back & I feel all frisky..or just enamored with them, hence the catnip reference. I'm still quite young. But I love watching your videos because I want to be prepared for when the right person comes along. I resonate so deeply with "don't date a guy below you." I was with someone for 2 years. From the very beginning his lack of discipine towards academics took a strain on our relationship. Academic performance is very important to me. Given we are still in a stage of our life where competitive exams will decide our fate. I did not respect him. I did berate him. I became someone so intolerable. He didn't have any standards for himself, he would have stayed regardless. But I did. I couldn't bear to be this person who was always naggy and negative. My inability to respect him because of his tendency to be a complete slob made me leave after 2 years. It is not worth it.

I do not agree with the first one. Being happy and proud of the person that you are can become another unachievable standard to add to the list. That is counterproductive. You don't have to be in perfect emotional shape in order to give and accept love; that's a lifelong journey and there's no need to spend it alone. Don't lie to yourself or your partner: 90% of us need approval, feel insecure or look for shelter sometimes. Healthy people don't avoid signs of "weakness"; they face them and work to empower each other and grow together everyday. I wouldn't date someone who only accepts my bright parts and runs away from that team work, nor would I ran.
