Micro habit : keep your space clean everyday so it doesn’t drain you and keep your energy.

I agree! Even if it’s cleaning one part everyday to then finally be clean later. I know some people are in a not healthy routine and it’s hard to start all at once. Doing one thing everyday will become a habit like making your bed or cleaning your vanity after getting ready etc.

There is NOTHING like coming home to a clean cozy apartment with the bed made and the smell of my candles and clean floors that I know that EYE cared for myself so much that I make it a comfy cozy welcoming home to arrive to, it’s really changed my life. I dressed up yesterday in my room trying on possible date outfits while listening to my favorite music. I put on some lipstick and walked around in high heels. It felt a little soothing. The next day I went grocery shopping and I saw that many people we’re looking at me, acknowledging me, smiling and saying hello. I smiled back. It’s all about aura and confidence I realize

I just wanted to remind you that lots of dads raise strong, self-reliant, and independent women. You can be a strong woman without sacrificing your femininity, love. Strength comes from within us and our skills, not our outfits. Besides, strong women CHOOSE their path, make their moves, and we can do it with ferocity and grace. The world doesn't respect you automatically as a woman, so we often have to teach others how to respect us, and we can do so wearing a fabulous outfit and some lipstick💄 💪. Just because we are feminine doesn't mean we are weak 🥰. Big hugs! 🖤🖤🖤

*hugs* You are absolutely allowed to be as feminine as you want and to change any time into the person you want to be. ❤ Fortunately, we live in an era where we have more access to learn things we didn’t get taught by those that raised us. Anna Bey is another influencer I love to learn from while I level myself up on how to be more self aware, and socially aware in a way that is more feminine and classy. I got raised as a tomboy too so Ive had to teach myself everything from hair & makeup to more lady like social behavior 😅

Tips 4 and 9 really resonated with me - thanks so much Jill❤️ 1) way you walk - move your hips 2) micro dress-up - just your lips, or just your brows 👗💄 3) ask for help gracefully 🥰 4) incorporate small moments of pleasure (eg read fiction) - not every moment in your life needs to be productive + monetised! 💰 5) second brain - write things down 📝 6) give someone a chance to open the door for you 🚪 7) stop rushing, start slowing down and start being in the moment 🧘‍♀️ 8) things don’t have to be 100% perfect all the time 💯 9) buy tiny little treats for yourself - you deserve happiness ☕️ 10) schedule me time 📅

There's actually science to this. What you're doing is called behavioral activation. Basically "acting as if" you're ok, and going through the motions, will improve your mental health over time. Hard to do when you feel terrible but good on you for figuring it out.

Great video! One habit I have incorporated is that, after my shower, when I rub oil into my body, I do it consciously and thank my body parts for all they help me to do, i. e. , my heart for being openly loving, my arms for being strong and allowing me the pleasure of hugging people, etc. It’s a very powerful thing to do and fosters a great appreciation for myself. 💜😇

Omg I just realised another thing from my childhood this is insane! I used to be very tombish because my mom did never give me any example of how to be feminine too! She never felt feminine herself, was very rough, didn’t shave, rarely put on makeup or dressed up, never let anyone help herself, wasn’t soft…all of that influenced me! I slowly discovered my feminine energy in my late teen years and now I feel so much better and secure in my feminine side ❤ I know how to carry myself, like cute girly outfits and know how to flirt well. I appreciate your talk on this topic. This year I started studying yin-yang energy and balancing chi. I started organizing spaces in my life according to feng shui principles (my home office first, my side of the bed, closet, and bathroom, then my office at work and now I’m working on the front porch and living room). I can’t tell you how this has transformed my life. I feel it is very “feminine” or yin to attune to the more subtle energies all around us as well as quiet rhythms of the seasons and the moon. This is now a wonderful lifestyle that has brought me to a center of being alive never experienced before, and I feel 100% content. I wish you well!

The 95% micro habit spoke to me as well as your example! I'm a watercolor artist in the midst of turning my art into digital works for print on demand sites. You are such a natural beauty and I really connect with that desire. Many other feminine, Contant, creator women, have long, fake nails, and pounds of make up, and I just don’t connect with them at all… you’re so natural and real and if I was a guy, I would prefer you in a heartbeat.

The micro-dress up hit home. I have the time, but sometimes I don’t have the energy to get fully glam. I used to. I wouldn’t leave the house unless I was done-up. Now, I am prioritizing getting dressed and *at least* putting mascara and eyebrows on. It really does wonders just changing clothes and a little makeup (if it’s your thing) and I’m glad you addressed it ❤

It’s absolutely crazy how simple and obvious all this is but how enlightening it is!!!! I’ve been in my masculine energy unknowingly for so long I’ve forgotten how to be feminine so thank you for speaking the ”obvious”.

I feel like I was meant to find this specific video. It's been a habit of mine for a long time to refuse help, this need to prove I can do everything on my own. The way you phrased it- let things be easy. Slow down. Not everything needs to be productive. Take time for small moments of fun. I just needed to hear this so badly. I know I'm just a stranger on the internet, but you genuinely helped me so much in 20 minutes. Thank you. ❤

I don’t mean to be dramatic but the habit of letting them get to the door first is life changing. When I put it into practice (after your video), it was really nice to remember that I don’t have to do everything myself, I can let myself receive. Your videos are so helpful. Thanks Jillz!!

Hi Jillz, your videos are incredible and I feel like I atleast APPEAR to move through the world with feminine energy but I'm realizing that I'm so scatterbrained and overwhelmed that I tend to overlook so many of these micro habits. Thank you SO much for these, especially as a new Mama I needed to hear a lot of this and hopefully I can impart this wisdom on my daughter one day when I've mastered these things and put them into practice routinely. Thank you ❤️🙏

Growing up, so many girls around me (myself included) felt this constant pressure to be always learning something new, making progress, educating themselves and just generally striving for greatness 24/7. While I think ambition is laudable, I also feel that there's a time and place for everything. It took me one and a half burnouts to realise that I can't always be efficient and productive. In fact, learning to ask for help and taking things easier has helped me in my career as well. I'm not afraid to turn to my colleagues for help anymore and our team is actually stronger for it. I've also learned to indulge in the small pleasures of life. I don't need a serious hobby and I certainly don't need to work my butt of at the gym. Life can be soft and pleasurable. It doesn't mean you're lazy or veering off course.

Oh I love #6! I started my dating life in Virginia where chivalry is definitely alive and well. Now I live in California and have inspired the same habits in the men I date simply by creating the space for them to step in and… open the door, carry the bags, or walk on the car side of the street. Consider it a gift your giving them to feel like a man, they’ll do it as soon as they know it’s what you want :)

My 3 minute Out-the-Door Routine: breath spray, brow fill, quick nose contour or a swipe of bronzer, lip gloss, spritz of perfume, check that I’m wearing earrings, a ring & a bracelet or watch, finger-fluff my hair, big sunnies and I’m Out-the-Door. I do this even if I’m in joggers and only running a quick errand. If I look & feel presentable then my mood is cheery & I’m fine with running into ppl. 3 mins is all this takes. Try it everyday for a week & you’ll agree, I promise. 👛 Much luv from NYC xx

I've struggled for SO long looking for videos explaining how to feel or act more feminine. Every single video I saw talked about just believing in yourself and that femininity is how you look at it and yadda yadda but I feel like this video actually understands what trying to embrace your femininity actually implies.

Thanks for starting with tip 1, I adore it and will be following the advice! I’m finding it so odd that I for some reason have had this weird thought process of ‘the women who walk with swayed hips are naturally like that, it would be weird for me to try to change how I walk after 20 years’ and then I think after seeing this tip, well why not me? Why can’t it be me too?! I’m realizing these women probably also leaned into their feminine and started walking in a more feminine manner so I can too. I don’t know why I’ve been so critical of myself and thinking I can’t change the way I walk.

Yesss. Things don’t always have to be 100%. I always tell myself, and even my children, “not everything is a 10”! Not everything on your list is the most important thing. Not everything on your list has to be done to an exact science. Save yourself, the stress for the important things if you must.

I realized I stopped allowing my hips to move since I got teased for it as a teen, I just WALKED that way, it came naturally. I don't know if it's from trying to be less "sexy" (never tried to be with my walk...), but I developed pretty tense muscles in my lower back... I will definitely work on letting myself go and flow again!

I try to be modest. When I was a child, I read an article about how women subconsciously swing their hips to attract a mate. I thought, “That’s stupid! I’m not going to do that!” and for a while consciously kept my hips still while walking. This became natural and for probably a decade now, I’ve had a notably “stiff” walk for a lady. Me trying to be modest and not get attention based on my body led to me being a little masculinized! Ugh, I may try to fix it bit-by-bit now. All that goes to say, I feel you 😆

4:46 definitely ask the worker for help. As a grocery store worker, I can confirm that we don’t judge and are happy to help😎 Today I went to the shoe store and couldn’t find the 2 pairs I wanted. But instead of asking the worker that kept passing by, I continued rechecking every single aisle. I finally gave up and asked him for help, and he kindly told me that both were sold out. If I had asked earlier I would’ve been out of that store way sooner. Just ask the worker for help man. Also, I genuinely needed this video. You taught me many things. Thank you so much !

I just found your channel, and I really appreciate what you shared. Your soft energy comes through the video and encourages me. I've been rushing through life because I have a lot on my plate (5 kids under 7, the last 2 are 4 month old twins) and sometimes slowing down feels like it will mean I fail to keep up with the needs. But I absolutely get pulled out of softness and into harsh energy and I hate it. I need to find a way to breathe and work through it. Thank you for this content. I hope to learn and grow much in this area this year.
