I get the whole part of the arc for Jim in the movie is to know that the amulet didn't make him a hero, he always was. But logically, it makes sense for him to have some sort of protection when fighting. Going into a intense battle, if you don't have powers like Douxie for example, makes sense to have something that will help even the odds. Even a simple suit of armour is better than none. But I know that's not the point.

At 2:42. Those freaking Goblins feel like the Flood from Halo in which they just multiply, are not smart at all, and are just mostly frustrating ‘easy to kill’ pieces of shit. I hated them for chasing after Claire just because her image was there when that one goblin got crushed. Thank god the Changelings and Trolls also hate them as much as any human would like how the UNSC and the Covenant hate the Flood. The difference though is that these goblins don’t infect people and turn them into monsters, they are just annoyingly blind vengeance seekers who attack anyone even if they are not responsible for killing one of their kind. This does not downgrade the episode at all, as I absolutely loved it for everything else and the first time we see Jim and Claire team up.

She almost beaten him to death until she started to believe him and she literally break into his house as she spied on him Merlin - a deviant old man who wasn't suppossed to be a parent at all Toby's grandma - wanted to murder a police officer until other parents stopped her
