I saw him play several times. Classy football playing. He could read the game very well. Why has Scotland stopped producing great talent like Baxter, Law, O'neill, Chalmers etc???

We don’t have enough kids playing the game today. In the past Scottish players were an integral part of many English teams. Now, it’s only one or two. Changed days.

Controls the game. Are your sure? gave the ball away almost every time and didn't follow Seeler for his goal. had a lot of the ball in midfield but did nothing to affect the score.

Oh, feel free to disagree with me here! He has created multiple chances for Law & Henderson and, more importantly, kept the ball going in midfield and made great progressive runs and passes. As for Seeler - yeah, it's a very bad effort from Baxter, but I tend to overlook it because of how insanely good Seeler was, in that game and in general. His spatial awareness, aggressiveness, mobility and clinical finishing were second to none.

Everything for Scotland seemed to go through him , maybe too much. Gave the ball away too much , but not every time. He did try to follow Seeler but ... Baxter and White successful for Scotland but more offensive than defensive
