I'm not the biggest Jim Carey fan, but he is 100% right. The number one problem we face as a nation (really the world) is lack of empathy. We have all adopted apathy, we don't care what we say or do to one another. Maybe I am just a pessimistic person with no cause for hope, but I believe that most people don't learn from their mistakes. I think it was Malcolm Mudderidge once said, "All new news is old news happening to new people." I fear that this once great nation will again go through a great depression, and that this world is gearing up for another world war. All because we couldn't care about our fellow man. Sorry for such a long comment.
