This is Rocky here. Dr. Cassidy was a blessing to the Church in the Philippines. I like the analogy of Castle building by planting a forest even if the planters would not see the finished castle. Confucius, obviously under the best (but sinful) use of general revelation said, "If you think in terms of a year, plant a seed; if in terms of ten years, plant trees; if in terms of 100 years, teach the people." What I like about the Reformed Church is its willingness to train men into the ministerial task, and the commitment to maximize their competency into the trainers ' level.

Praying that the Lord will continue to use you Dr. Jim and The Reformed Forum ministry for His work of reformation in the Philippines. The Lord knows we need you who have gone so far before us in the reformed faith. Grateful to God for his providence that we were able to travel from Cagayan de Oro City to Davao to join your conference. We learned a lot as well as confirmed our understanding and teachings concerning ecclesiology. We are an independent confessional reformed church seeking an oversight.

Glad to hear of your work here in the Philippines. I'm from the CRCP and yes we're still here, lol. it's sad to admit that we are not as widespread as a denomination or even in the forefront of the resurgence of wanting to know Reformed Theology in the country. it's a great blessing to hear that there are many who are coming here to help teach and encourage but we do still need more. Hopefully the denomination can be involved in establishing a Reformed Seminary that's going to be helpful for many churches. God bless you brothers.

Thank you for this episode, Camden and Jim. I appreciate all your labor at Reformed Forum in providing free videos and materials for people around the globe who are interested in learning the Reformed faith. I thank you especially for doing this episode on the status of the Reformed church in the Philippines. We are still a minority in the Christian community here but, yes, there is a growing curiousity and interest of it over here. I'd like to thank Jim's labor with us and among us early this year. His ministry among us is greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to seeing him return next year, Lord willing, to do more seminars and modular course on Reformed theology. It is true that there is a need for an onsite seminary with strong Reformed confessional conviction and qualified faculty members. We are trying to address the need but we know that we need some help from the brethren like you guys in the USA and from other parts of Europe. It may take another generation before the goal may be realized by the grace of God but we are praying that it will be accomplished in God's time. Thank you so much for all your labor at the Reformed Forum.

Would not PTS CAS in Cavite qualify as a reformed seminary? They even have a D.Min. in Reformed Tradition.
