Interesting that you mentioned "Chuck Tanner" as an opponent for Paul Orndorff on that Allentown card. The more famous Chuck Tanner managed both Pittsburgh and Atlanta in Major League Baseball. Through the years WWE among other companies has presented local talent with a ribbing name. For instance a guy they named "Paul Bryant" once appeared on a Birmingham show (he was known for working in Memphis as "Paul Brown"). And only a couple years back for a Monday night show in Greensboro "The Dark Order's" own John Silver was billed as "Ricky Roberts."B.W.

Yes!!!!! I said pretty much the same the day he died. Nassau Coliseum (Highway to Hell Tour) he walked around and shook the fans hands. We asked if we could rub his head for a quarter. He laughed about it and shook our hands. He was so cool about us ribbing him. Especially a bunch of 13 year olds. Genuinely a great guy the entire time. Even thru the rough crowd it was. @christopher olivarez As strongly as I feel that Cornette would never go to AEW, I sometimes feel this cold feeling that he's going to show up there. And maybe this heated reviewing of recent shows is part and parcel. The ultimate swerve. I so want to be wrong about him not reviewing anymore. If he does indeed go to there it'll be a dark day in wrestling history. Jim Cornette is an expert we can all trust and rely on. That would be a disgrace to his esteemed name. He'd be a hot one for a bit, but let's face it, it's AEW. How much have Hardy, Archer and Lee brought besides an inability to bring in ratings or viewers? They ruin everything they touch. And in my opinion, nobody can make any kind of "Dream" Match with The Young Bucks. Not even the former Revival.

Speaking as someone has been furloughed, it sucks. Furloughed is basically forced unpaid time off. In the case of the wrestlers, I assume they are held to the terms of their contract, just not allowed to work, and not being paid.
