I've now listened to both channels equally and Brian is definitely twice as good as Conrad. Bruce is fun to listen to, but only can answer 50% of the questions asked as opposed to Cornette's 98%. Of course one spent 40 + years drinking and doing drugs while the other spent the time eating cheeseburgers and taking physicians style notes

With Jim being a “South Park” fan I am surprised he missed the “Antonio Bandaires blow-up doll” reference.
@ChrisWoollett
@ChrisWoollett 4 жыл бұрын
South Park also had a "curse word" episode called "It Hits The Fan" where the "s word" was said multiple times and iits constant utterance on the episode has caused a resurgence of the Black Death to the characters on South Park episode. According to DVD commentary, they were only going to say the word a few times, which Comedy Central would not allow. However, when Parker and Stone came up with the idea that they would "say it like 200 times, they (Comedy Central) were fine with it. The moral of the episode is not that saying "shit" in itself is wrong but saying it in excess leads to boredom with the word.

@ChrisWoollett
@ChrisWoollett 4 жыл бұрын
@@marcelmoreau2733 "Where's Waldo?" is known as "Where's Wally?" in the United Kingdom where he was created (his author, Martin Handford is British, the books were published in Britain first and Wally is the original name) and Wally is his name in most of Europe*. Sweden is the only European country that calls him by his North American name of Waldo. The name change in the USA was because John Keller, the publisher at Little, Brown at the time, was concerned that "Where's Wally" is too close to the American children's book 'Where's Wallace', and possible copyright issues to it. So the name Waldo was chosen in the USA, mainly because it was close enough to Wally, but not controversial in any way. Wally is a term used in the UK for someone who's stupid but this meaning doesn't exist in the USA. (Waldo his most known name isn't used in a negative way in the USA as I have never heard an American say "What a Waldo" about someone that did something dumb.) * en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where%27s_Wally%3F#International_editions

I only own one PWG show, because I attended it live and it was at a legends con so it features the only ever match between Roddy Piper and Terry Funk. Excalibur and Colt Cabana, the announcers that night, spend part of the show amusing themselves with rape jokes, which pissed me off and sort of ruins the video of what was a very fun night in person.

I think AEW is leading to a split with Page/Omega that turns into the Elite as heels against FTR/Page/Spears "Horsemen" group. Arn will turn on Cody and side with Tully.
@Mister_Phafanapolis
@Mister_Phafanapolis 4 жыл бұрын
But why should we care about a "split" between Page and Omega? Hangman already left "The Elite" yet he still teams with them all the time, so, what's the point? How elite were The Elite anyway, if they were beat up and left for dead by The Dark Order? They were never established as being elite.
@JasonOrick
@JasonOrick 4 жыл бұрын
@@Mister_Phafanapolis I agree with most of your points. That's why instead of Page turning on Omega, it'll be Omega heeling on Page. Making him and FTR kind of anti hero faces.
