Besides the horrible things he was doing on the side, as far as creative goes Drew is a prime example that Vince had no clue what he was doing for a long time, and it's kinda ironic that it was Vince that initially introduced Drew all those years ago as the future, but he didn't know what to do with him, he tries to dumb it down which in turn makes Drew less interesting, he's Scottish, let's give him a sword. Counter point - they are currently screwing drew. I'd say HHH has an issue with him. Let's look at what he's done recently. He carried the feud with Punk for 9 months while punk was injured and re-injured again. He was there every night, keeping the angle hot while punk showed up once in a while. Drew helped deliver one of the best angles in the last decade. So, how do they reward him? By taking what he's worked for, making himself look like a serious main event worker, and giving him a follow-up mid-card feud with Sami and Jey. How do they reward Punk? Push him as main event. Insert him into the bloodline feud. He'll probably win the rumble this year... Drew deserves better than what they gave him for a reward. The second they make Drew dance, which will happen, it'll be all over for him. Nobody recovers after they dance on TV. Lol. Khali, big show, tensai, funkasaurus, big e. If u see a wrestler dance, they are 6 months from a release.

The schedule back in the territory days especially when Jim goes into detail was simply brutal. Yet all the time working on your in ring craft and working on character/story-line development. Now days maybe TV once or possibly twice a week with rare house shows ... or worse still ... sitting at home months on end and getting paid ... things certainly have changed ... you can understand Jim's frustration with the attitude of some within the industry now ... 🤔

Saturday night's main event's premiere on December 14th was a great show jesse Ventura did such an excellent job on commentary during the main event he hadn't missed a step since last doing commentary in WWE on an episode of raw in 2009 which I forgot about lol the fact this episode beat AEW collision in the ratings tells you how hot WWE'S product has been and how awful AEW has been all year round especially when they give themselves a gunshot wound when they aired the all-in footage back in April.
