I think AEW would probably be his best bet. Even if he does end up hardly being used or an afterthought weeks after debuting, he'd be getting the best paychecks of his life. Up until about three years ago, in my opinion, MLW was the best promotion out there. Their shows were fantastic. About three years ago, they started that Azteca Underground thing and started pivoting toward a Lucha influence, and it immediately took a nosedive. Everything I loved about the promotion disappeared pretty much overnight. It finally reached the point where the shows were unwatchable, and I gave up about 7 or 8 months ago, even though I love Hammerstone and Jacob Fatu. I check back in from time to time to see if it has gotten any better, but it hasn't. They are just like every other indie promotion now. They are like AEW without a budget.

Hammerstone looks like a top level WWE star to me. I read that he has had tryouts in the past that didn’t come to anything, with the explanation that he looked too much like Triple H, which l don’t really see at all?! If anything now, he’d be in danger of wrongly being seen as a Brock Lesnar clone/attempted replacement especially since Brock’s long hair and beard Viking look…. I don’t watch any wrestling anymore. Just listen to recaps and WrestlingBios. But Hammerstone looks like a wrestler. He looks like a star. If pushed right, he can be one. WWE is a big pond. So it would be harder there, but I don’t think anyone would or should trust Tony with their career at this point. Stay with me here. Let's say TK has already brought in Richard Holliday as the devil mask character, doesn't it make sense to bring in Hammerstone as well and reunite The Dynasty? At that point, it makes all the sense in the world for Hammerstone to try to get out of his contract. TK can't keep bringing in WWE retreads, he has to realize that isn't working. He needs to bring in some talent that mainstream wrestling fans don't know so he can call them his own. With his fan base, I don't think there is any way he could bring in Jacob Fatu, but that would be the ultimate coup, get The Dynasty in AEW and then bring in the SST.

My sons met Hammerstone awhile back and he's a really good dude. He has the potential to he a major star and MLW needs to do the right thing.

I actually loved mlw. Contrqa was fucking awesome and I was Invested in Holiday and even the red neck guy whose name i forgot. Lawler was a pretty good heel, injustice was a great secondary heel team, and Selena was hot AF but a bitch so it was great. I 2asnt in love with airwolf and gringo loco etc. Its a shame it went south.

I heard WWE did not hire Hammerstone years ago because he "Looked too much like HHH" . Me personally I don't see the resemblance all that much . And that is if the story is true . I heard it several places over the years , but now days who knows .

The reason MJF was able to work both MLW and AEW is because some weird wording in his MLW contract that resulted in any restrictions not applying to AEW as AEW did not exist at the time of the contract. So he worked both until the MLW contract expired and he stayed with AEW.

Hammerstone is the type of talent that AEW needs to sign. But, AEW probably wouldn't know what to do with him

Honestly, if he leaves MLW, his best option would be TNA/Impact. If he were to go to WWE or AEW, he would get a big debut, only to get forgotten about in a matter of months, if not weeks

He should go to Impact. He'll just be another Wardlow and Hobbs in AEW. NWA would be a step down from MLW.

These are the type of ppl AEW needs to sign. Not ran through WWE wrestlers. I would have Hammerstone come in win every week for a whole month on all 3 shows. Set up a story with him and MJF (the story writes himself) and win in like 7 mins. New World champion.

Problem is Tony doesn't know how to booked big/muscle wrestlers, indie or Flippy wrestlers got a lot of push and storyline by Tony
