They’re in newer contracts (that they signed while Punk was still with them and Vince wasn’t completely out at WWE yet), and they’re being paid well and have more time with their families. So no, I don’t hate FTR for that. They already have to contend with the fact that the Bucks are above them in the company, they don’t want Tony to be against them too. In all honesty, while I fell more on Punks side through it all, he shouldn’t have said what he said at that scrum. THAT was being a bad employee. Doesn’t excuse EVPs doing what they did after, and Tony’s complete lack of ability to handle anything, but that was something Punk should not have done, and I wouldn’t expect FTR or anyone really to do the same.
