God, "weeb", that phrase is more overused to a point that no one who says it actually knows what it means than "boomer". A weeb is someone that is not Japanese who pretends like they are, speaking poorly pronounced Japanese, engaging in stereotypes like wearing kimono everywhere and eating sushi/ramen for every meal, being a general embarrassment to the Japanese people, and hating on everything that doesn't come from Japan. It does not mean someone who enjoys Japanese media, and there should not be a derogatory term for someone who enjoys Japanese media. Otherwise why isn't there a term for the Americans who are obsessed with Ireland and talk in bad Irish accents while drinking and eating beer and corn beef, or Americans who are obsessed with Rome and have literal centurion armor in their house?

@theexistentialnihilist20703 жыл бұрын
@@kidfox3971 Nah, its much more casual now, though I'll grant you that, it's more casual now because it was so overused as an insult in the past. Now it basically just means Anime fan or someone who likes Japan, and most weebs will use it to refer to themselves and others within the subculture.

Maki Itoh has tough skin than most of these wrestlers in America. She doesn’t care about what people think about her. That’s her strength in wrestling and wrestling fans love Maki Itoh. She is the Becky Lynch of Joshi wrestling without being cringeworthy. If Tony Khan signs Maki Itoh in AEW. She will make AEW women division interesting and better. However, Tony Khan doesn’t like women wrestling. Even Cody Rhodes wouldn’t allow any women wrestlers to outshine his pregnant wife Brandi Rhodes.

Yuka Sakazaki has worked with AEW before, a triple threat vs Nyla Rose & Riho, also a tag team bout where an opponent of hers was Britt Baker. Her gimmick is she's a magical girl from a magical girl anime (something like "A Certain Magical Index"), and Riho was the first AEW Women's Champion... she's also Kenny Omega's mixed gender tag partner of choice. Riho has also done the "avoiding a lawsuit so we're calling it the area code kick instead of the 619" before. Best part of the aforementioned triple threat these ladies had vs Nyla Rose was when Nyla was about to pin Riho, looked back as if she was going to go for Yuka, and immediately you see one guy in the front row shout "DON'T TOUCH HER!" 9:57 Idol groups in Japan are pop singers/dancers, sort of like the boy bands of the 90's. Japan has real music too, however. A personal favorite of mine is metalcore group Coldrain, who record exclusively in English.
