The Freebirds blinding JYD was one of the best.. Watts may have been considered a lot of things by some, but he provided some epic angles in MidSouth in the early 80s

Sting getting kicked out of The Horsemen in 89 was great! Shawn throwing Marty threw The Barbershop window was amazing, it was so dark and memorable. Those are 2 angles that stick out to me!

Best match? Too many to think through. I've seen good feuds but the best BLOWOFF I'd go with the JYD / Freebirds classic. They blind the dog. Mock him and then Hayes agrees to a dog collar match, thinking JYD is still blind. Once Hayes gets the collar around his neck, and JYD takes off the bandages around his eyes .. THAT WAS CLASSIC

The Fantastics are really underrated... They were doing alot of moves before they were popular... Bobby Fulton was doing the "laying on the turnbuckle" way before Michaels... I feel sorry for noone who has heard Green Grass... But really,Jim,you may need to broaden your horizons a bit in the Rock and Roll area... But still,Jim Cornette is one of the best talkers EVER in the business... Go watch some of his promos from the Crockett days... He is spitting that shit flawlessly... Pure sizzle... He's a better talker than most wrestlers,of any era...

The entire Macho Man/Jake The Snake feud. I mean... When Jake had that Cobra bite Macho Man... That was Magical. Horrifying and supremely edgy for the time. Ahead of its time I should say. I was only 10 years when that happened, and I knew Wrestling was staged at that age already, but when the Snake Bite incident happened, it began to blur that line for me again between what was and wasn't real in Wrestling again. Just incredible.

Timothy Boese Yeah.... When I saw that damn snake bite a tied up Macho, my suspension of disbelief was completely engaged. There was no way in hell that could be fake, and made me cringe. And of course Jake laughing maniacally at the end. Fuckin A it blurred the line.

The Outlaws were some of the best guitarists is the music business at the time. Sadly, classic rock radio is busy repeating Led Zepplin, The Who and Pink Floyd exclusively on constant rotation. You almost never hear any other greats like Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher, or any other greats forgotten by the masses over time.

I think my all time favorite wrestling moment was one in which I don't remember the names of of any of the participants or exactly when it happened. I only recall that it happened when I was watching Memphis studio wrestling some time in the early 90s (I think.) It was a tag team match, and one of the tag teams had a hot female manager/valet. While the match was going on, the hot female manger went over to the babyface who was not in the ring at the time and planted a big kiss on him. She then pointed at the ring and ordered him to turn on his partner and help her team win the match WHICH HE DID! At the time I wasn't up on who the main wrestlers in the Memphis territory were other than Jerry Lawler (I had just recently moved back to southern Indiana after a long absence.) I think that by this time Lance Russel was gone and Dave Brown was the head commentator. I thought this was perhaps the most amusing/outrageous thing I'd ever seen in professional wrestling. It was also kind of hot. I wondered why none of the other promotions didn't steal this idea with their own sexy female managers like Sunny or Missy Hyatt. If this incident rings a bell with ANYONE, I would love to know more of the details. Thanks.

1. Stairway to Heaven 2. When Sullivan stabbed Mulligan because Dusty ducked out of the way (kill the head, and the body dies). A qualifier should be if your angle doesn't have a famous phrase (Austin 3:16 says...), then how great is it really?

OMG Jim u are absolutely correct green grass by the outlaws is the greatest guitar song ever recorded & most of the human race have no idea what they are missing. With that one statement I have found my true brother. In general the outlaws have never been given the credit they not only deserve but earned. As much as I love all the popular southern rock the outlaws were the most consistent quality rockers Allman Bros don't get recognition for what they created dickey Betts especially but thank u for showing musical wisdom as great as your wrestling wisdom. BTW this comes from a Jacksonville FL native so these statement may get me lynched but truth must be told!!!!!

Dave Cooper I think ppl don't like her because she sounds like she should be doing a show called Listening to the Delightful Sounds of Easy Listening. Or she sounds like Delilah who does that cheesy, sappy, love song radio show where ppl call in and make requests or cry about breaking up lol. I don't think she's bad and she's clearly a big fan, but yeah her voice is really irritating though. But it would be worse if she tried talking in some other voice that isn't her natural voice, at least she doesn't do that.
