@@FuutonRasengan1 true. but my point was Sin Cara was a wimp. Nash had skinny legs. Vince had tree trunk legs. Nash didnt lose any respect because he couldnt endure the pain of it...he lost respect because his legs are weak and injury prone. I don't think Vince had any combat training to make him fight tough but he is definitely a physically tough guy just like Foley, I've seen them both take more damage than any of the legit tough guys. When Vince blew his quads and no sold it it was amazing, at the time you knew he was hurt but not the extent and he just sat there looking more pissed off than hurt, when Zach Gowan opened him up badly he took it like Kratos. What a tough bastard

I remember being really disillusioned with the game after this event. I loved Nailz, he was a great character, he had so much potential to take the game up a couple of notches - and that was all squandered by such a stupid technicality as a workplace dispute. Too many of the better characters were being squandered / homogenized. I realise in Nailz'z case he did play an active part in his own dismissal but I'd still come down on his side considering Vince had ultimate oversight and should have assuaged the dispute before it went that far.

Jim's love for the business and the way a tough guy should look still colours his opinion on whether someone can shoot. Just like him thinking Nia Jax would have anything for Ronda Rousey cause she's big.

Vince always had Rene Goulet, Undertaker and now a days Roman close by, for those situations. If undertaker knew there was that level of heat he would get a chair and take it by Vince's door and sit there and tape his hands. Brett Hart was outside the door and he said Vince was 20 seconds from being strangled.

A young Vince doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to shy away from an ass kicking. Nailz was a fucking bear though so his chances in that one were pretty much nil.

Vince is also ex-military and a former athlete. So throw that in the tough guy convos. Even if he didn't see war time, he at least got the training he needed to keep someone at bay on top of him being a muscled up lunatic.

@@psychobluesfxt his best hand to hand combat training he got in that military academy would've been on the the wrestling team, which he was a member of. Just like the best hand to hand combat training anyone ever got at West Point was by getting stretched by wrestling champion Tom Jenkins. I was in the army in the 90s and I've done martial arts as well I can assure you until they built the army/marine combative programs around a Brazilian jiu-jitsu base in the late 90s early 2000s the existing training was mediocre at best. They weren't even doing the original combatives program they used beginning in WWII formulated by Sykes/Fairbairn in England and added to by Colonel Applegate in the US armed forces, which was actually effective in combat use. So much so the nazis developed a habd to hand program to counter it.

@@shooter7734 I doubt Nailz would know anything about that lol. But I think it would take an extraordinary shooter to outright manhandle Vince at that point in his life. Even Mark Henry said he was impressed with Vince’s strength even in his late 60s

He had just been put on the front of WWF Magazine with Undertaker doing a stare off-they were going to headline house shows. Total imbecile. Did like when he replaced Norton at Slamboree five months later that WCW billed him as being from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
