Don't be silly man. First of all, some people go to loads of other promotions as it is some sort of accomplishment to have been a champ in many different places. I do think that is more of a wrestler marks minset rather than a fans one, except for their fans. Some other people stay in one promotion I.e John Cena. Take Billy Gunn's kids. They will be in WWE one day no doubt. But right now they are just getting some reps in on the other side. And despite the lack of discipline or training regime over there, I am sure someone of Billy's experience is guiding them along, and they will be even more ready for NXT to become the best they can once that time comes. There isn't just one route someone has to take. Brian Pillman Jr probably got some eyes on himself even if he wasn't used well in AEW. Sometimes people need the exposure. I believe this vehemently. There are actually many talents out there who have been killing it for years (not garbage indy talent, just unknown people) who have either never been fussed about leaving their small pond, or have never gotten a call. Sometimes it just be what it is, y'know?

Mark was picked on for his size as a youth to which he couldn’t control. He got picked on as an adult for a position in a company that he couldn’t control. I’m surprised Make didn’t have even mess tolerance and just start breaking people in half. For all accounts he’s a kind man. Besides Severn and Shamrock, Mark would’ve eaten alive everyone in that locker room. Not sure if Blackman was there yet.

The Miz deserves a 2 hour documentary. #1 company guy. Cornette is wrong about Miz. Doesn’t Lawler deserve more than an hour? Okay fine. But it doesn’t mean Miz shouldn’t. Whether Cornette agrees or not Miz deserves more respect. Put so many people over, even celebrities despite being a 2 time world champion, grand slam champion, which while sad, he did it for the company. Winner in Life, Good looking, even if Jim calls him Frogface. How he dealt with the locker room situation,he deserves all the appreciation….Regular listener of the podcast, obviously because I like it,but don’t agree always with Cornette.

Legit question: how was the live crowd in the building reacting when the hand happened? I was watching at home and I was so embarrassed I swore I’d never watch pro wrestling again.

Honestly, I've never been to an E show.. From 1990 to 1998 I went to the NWA then WCW shows in Gainesville Georgia. My 1st anything with wrasslin was a local MWA show at the high school gym in Hoschton Georgia In 1986.. Saw Starrcade 1990 & 1991 on closed circuit.. Otherwise...

Miz is nobody. RVD was an ECW guy and Jim was never fond of it. He actually has a connection to Henry’s journey so it makes perfect sense he reviewed this one.
