If finishers aren't enough to put a guy away, what's the point of having one? It used to be that once a finisher was fired off, that was all she wrote. Only occasionally would a guy kick out, usually a top heel or baby face, and that was always a true holy shit moment.

Moves are cool and all but it has short term impact a momentary cheer but people move on quick. But telling a story drawn from personal life stays in people's memory for a longtime.

Still blown away by how this Dynamite "gained' viewers. Of course, a lot of it was thanks to Big Bang Theory and Samoa Joe once again. To bad it came at the post of burying Samoa Joe because of Jinder Mahal and WWE working Tony into a fit. The Cult of Khan still sees this as a "victory" because it's the highest-rated Dynamite since Sept, but they still have failed to reach a million viewers in 47 weeks. You also had to put the worst Rod and Todd Flanders segment ever, after a tribute to Jay Briscoe that go no advertisement, but Tony reminded everyone the previous week of "Brodie Lee's Tribute." Show you how much the Briscoes really mean.

Somebody explain the difference between Jay Briscoe and Chris Jericho. Jay said what he said, apologized and worked with groups to mend fences and get a better understanding about life general. I love when Jim mentioned how the Best Friends and Penta have been on this program for almost 5 years and they have all had zero progression. Penta for being a lucha guy has a bit of a look, his moves are good, and has a charisma...yet he's done like absolutely nothing to get over more or grow. Zero mic skills... Best Friends have been together for 5 years and haven't changed anything. Yeah Pockets has been pushed but with nothing different about his character at all...even then he runs people off usually. I know not every wrestler can get over or get on tv but at this point, Trent and Muffin top should just be off tv or putting over some kind of monster character or bad-ass you want to push.
