I'd hate to burst people's bubble, but I really want to at the same time. His impersonation of Moxley, is actually... Brian's doing the same voice and narration that they do on a video about a Steven Seagal movie. 'Half badass, half cobra'. It fits tho, Seagal and Moxley are basically the same phony personalities. Big bill and wardlow have no personality. Wardlow was most over when he didn't talk and was just powerbombin cunts to hell lol aew and TK don't know how to build their big dudes up properly they'd rather build up guys like Yuta n Orange Cassidy 🤦♂️
@SubtlyPoor Жыл бұрын
Tony Khan is one of these diminutive weirdos who think that size doesn't matter, that these little flyweight wrestlers can too compete with heavy weights, and he lives vicariously through these half-men pretending to be tough guys. For example, Tony booked Orange Cassidy to one-punch TKO Will Hobbs in 2 seconds. So in short, Tony Khan isn't running a real wrestling promotion, he's spending his inheritance creating a live action fantasy wrestling league.

A triple threat is the first fall or submission wins the match. A 3 way dance is elimination, last man left wins. The WM 2000 main event was a 4 way dance and not a fatal 4 way bc it was elimination. But the wwe called it something different like the 4 posts match with a macmahon in every corner. WWE has to gimmick everything up. But the triple threat with jericho, angle, and benoit @ wm 2000 was different. Bc it was 2 falls with no elimination. My favorite triple threat match was Steve Austin VS Kurt angle VS RVD @ no mercy 2001.

I think it's kinda sad on this show that you have to have Darby Allin teaming up with Pockets. Just watched my first John Mockery match and considering the level of violence, it was surprisingly boring. The crowd was utterly silent and disinterested until either another prop, in a series of props was brought out or extreme personal bodily injury was a prospect; then they popped and chanted before immediately falling silent again. Forget Bullet Club Gold as a concept. Turn Keith Lee heel and have him offer his services to them because he's tired of being the nice guy that finishes last. Keith is basically the Solo Sikoa to their Roman for a little while until they get established. Meanwhile, Miro shows up and calls out Takeshita. The people want to see this because Miro is returning, and because Takeshita can put on a great match. Near the end of the match, the Elite comes out and corners Takeshita in the ring. The people boo because they want to see a finish. Miro comes from behind with a chair and beats down the Elite, revealing the two were in cahoots all along. Then Takeshita turns on Don and the audience goes wild. (Don permanently retires to a backstage role where he teaches people how to believe what they are saying in promos) Jay White Juice Keith Lee Takeshita Miro Imagine the promos these guys would have together. Keith has always needed work on the mic and maybe what he really needs is a group of guys to riff off of. Takeshita wouldn't have to promo much, they could just talk up his size. Miro could do any range of emotions with any of these guys. Have Takeshita beat MJF when nobody expects it. The kind of shtick Sonjay and Lethal have been trying to do is what this group would successfully do here. They don't have a long title reign, but enough to get their next story rolling. Maybe against the BCC and you get Danielson/Takeshita to finally give Danielson the title. You could then do any combination of tag/trios with the group while having 5 guys able to workshop with each other.

There is a guy called JDfromNY who is also on youtube, and he does his show reviews the same night as the show. I know that is asking too much from Jim, and maybe Brian, but you should at least be able to do them the next day or the day after that. P.S. I also love Brians impression of Mox, it is great, Bad Ass, lol. I watch/listen to all your podcasts on youtube, I just wish you did your show reviews sooner than a week after they are over.
