I really wanted them to build this match over at least a month. Let Nigel wrestle 2-3 matches on Dynamite and/or Collision where he crushes some no-name jobbers and looks cocky & arrogant as he does it before cutting post-match promos on Danielson. It would’ve introduced Nigel to the audience that never saw him wrestle before and only knew him as a commentator. In the meantime, Danielson could be dealing with the aftermath of Mox trying to un-alive him on television. That seemed more pertinent than Nigel lobbying for a random grudge match from his old ROH rival.

This should have been a real "dream match" two of ROH's greatest in the ring together for the first time in over 10 years, but instead, it was a complete farce. The booking for this match was abysmal. You kept Danielson off TV for weeks and tried to badly announce will he even show up. Of course, he does show up and the match never got out of first gear. People wanted to see Nigel and Danielson go to war, instead, they worked in slow motion with a finish that felt flat. But of course, Meltzer had to try and make it sound good by giving it 4 stars. Now Danielson gets to go to "war" with Neo Moxley, but only he has a badly booked match together with Okody, where both titles are on the line for 20 minutes only, then it's just Danielson's title. Which tells us this match is going to go 20+ mins with a Neo Moxley interference at the end.
