I was having a legit conversation with my roommate and we brought up the subject of best wrestler tribute shows / memorial raws etc. He said that Brodie Lee's tribute, while a bit sappy and seemed to legit USE the tears of the man's family to make a better television segment, was very professional. I had to agree because only Eddie Guerrero's tribute raw came close and that fell short because Shawn f&@%ing Michaels had to bring in his "kingdom of one" Bible thumping trash lies. It was frustrating to say the least

agreed, but that's also the problem is Jim Cornette, He's still stuck in "old ways" of wrestling and Kayfabe and has become off as assholish to alot of wrestlers and fans because he's not willing to evolve his thinking to the pro wrestling of today where are Faces that does Heel things and Heels that do Face things. He's like "Your a Heel, your not supposed to fist bump that kid or give that kid a hug while your going to the ring" and the Babyface isn't supposed to give the Heel a nut shot while the refs back is turn and get the pin, he's also not evolved on the style of wrestling either and the athleticism of wrestlers today.

Yamamoto started twisting his ear just enough so Williams moved his head forward and winced a little. "that hurt?" Williams goes yeah. Yamamoto looks at him " you do me no pain" Williams reached over grabbed his ear Yamamoto went forward like it was killing him. Williams let go. Yamamoto looks at Williams and says "thats sell" a light bulb went off and Williams head and he immediately got it. I find many of his contemporary opinions ludicrous. But his ability to recount a story and tell one entertainingly is excellent. Credit where credit is due.

Whats ludicrous about his opinions? Shitty indy flip flopping will never draw as big of a number that wrestling did in the 70's and 80's (or before that). Jim also thinks WWE is the shits, and again he is right.

@@rsk47reviews59 the scary part is Jim cornette and Vince Russo think the current products sucks for almost all of the exact same reasons. They do so much shit that doesn't make sense. Let's go watch shows, even the hay day if you ask somebody if they thought everything they saw was 100% legit they tell you no. But Murdoch and Carl Cox want to kill each other. As Johnny Valentine pulled Roddy Piper "I may not be able to convince them that wrestling is real but I can sure as hell convince them that I'm real" Fans are willing to suspend disbelief to enjoy anyting wrestling or movies Etc but you can insult their intelligence with something that is just plain stupid and makes no sense He is right though, he does have a lot of outdated views on things have to be done in an exact way better kind of Ludacris and you can do differently as long as it actually makes sense
