I'm not a gun nut, in fact part of the reason I like Cornette is how his liberal views pisses off 'wrasslin' fans, but you shouldn't block a friend on twitter just because they disagree with you. That is being petty.

I support the right to own firearms. I own a couple. I use an ak47 with a 5 round clip for deer hunting. It's no more deadly than mostly all deer rifles. That being said should we have better gun laws to obtain things like this? Yes, absolutely.

All I heard in the first portion of this podcast is “We need more gun control.” As opposed to the obvious answer of “We need the government to do their job and ENFORCE the current gun laws.”

Christopher Potempa you do realize that's what gun control means right? Also the current laws are terrible. They aren't uniform, they don't include psych testing, and they are full of loopholes, in addition to being poorly enforced.

Fiction Inquisition it’s not the citizens fault that the government isn’t doing their due diligence. Or picks and chooses when they do their due diligence. There’s no need for psych testing and name some loopholes.

They are doing a parody, not mocking. Like Omega and the blowup doll is a play on the saying that someone could wrestle a broomstick and have a good match. What Jim isn't understanding is that the jokes existed before the comedy wrestling. The Scary Movie series wouldn't exist if horror movies hadn't gotten so formulaic, and in many cases unintentionally silly.

Jesus Zamora the problem is you don't hunt with an AR-15 You don't hunt with a M-16 (I don't care about the urine it is or isn't true) You don't need military grade weapons
@christopherpotempa7351
@christopherpotempa7351 6 жыл бұрын
Jack Of All Trades But Master Of None who says you can’t use it for hunting? Technically speaking hunting rifles have more firepower. Also there’s military grade isn’t a “real” thing. It’s just whatever the military believes to be an adequate firearm for their needs. Do they use AR15s? Yes, but occasionally and usually for security detail. They don’t use it in war/gun battles. Some Marine Snipers use the Remington 700 which happens to be a popular hunting rifle. Since you think we don’t need military grade weapons should hunters find another rifle? Or maybe they should use a shotgun like the Remington 870. Well that’s also used by the military and would be considered a military grade weapon.
@jesuszamora6949
@jesuszamora6949 6 жыл бұрын
Jack - I gotta agree with Christopher here. "Military grade" is just a term being used by the anti-gun lobby to scare people. AR-15s are just long rifles. And yeah, bolt-action rifles tend to be more powerful than semi-auto. The only real advantage of a semi-auto is that you're not going to jostle the weapon pulling back a bolt, thus not losing target. And this is the problem with the gun debate in America. Both sides are using scary words to keep their bases dug in, preventing anything resembling compromise. The NRA keeps its base whipped up in a frenzy about the orwellian government coming to take their guns away and the anti-gun lobby uses scare words like "military grade" to keep their base frightened and pushing for the end goal of gun confiscation. It doesn't help that the general public seems confused as to the difference between semi-auto and full-auto. Lastly, no, the M16 is not available to civilians. It's a select-fire weapon, after all. The Colt AR15 is semi-auto-only.
