I imagine the lost footage consists of Jim Cornette telling an unnecessarily detailed story about hooking up with a ring rat after working a show for Don Owens' old territory. I have no problem admitting that I am not a Jim Cornette fan. I respect what he did, I understand WHY people do like him. But I was born in 87, so my introduction into him was at his creative worst when he was struggling to get guys like Owen Hart, The British Bulldog and Vader the kind of spotlight they deserved in a company full of politicians. But as a kid- he just felt like he was a bit out dated and bitter. I am apologetically an attitude era baby lol but I do respect what he did. It was just not my thing. It's a strange kind of love-hate for me. While I can not deny his influence on some of the characters who I utterly adore. Truth Martini (when truth isn't being raunchy, you can see a lot of corney in him when he is being a verbal antagonist) , Davey Richards, Owen Hart & Bulldog, Larry Sweeney (R.I.P) and countless others. But a part of me always sees him as the prick with the tennis racket. So maybe that is a sign he did his job right. And there are times I feel bad, because I can tell wrestling has in many ways left a bad taste in his mouth, and for good reason. But it sometimes makes old Jim seem a bit cynical when he says things like wrestling will eventually become extinct. With all of that said, I have no problem admitting this was one of the more enjoyable interviews I have seen, both for you AND Cornette. So thank you both for sharing this with us. And seeing as I am a Wrestling With Wregret fanboy, I marked out a little to see him sporting your logo :P I am proud of ya man, from a parody to a cameo to an interview and it brought out the absolute best in you both. It's always nice to see Jim in a good mood and laughing and being so positive and not so depressed with the state of wrestling and those who inhabit it. And I think guys like you are to thank for that, this show of yours stays true to the good and has no problem embracing the bad for what it is. And this by far is your best work. I don't mean to rant but your stuff only seems to get better- and I don't know if you are ever going to be able to top this. It's nice getting to see YOU mark out a bit too, and this interview just felt full of that old wrasslin love that only fellow wrestling fans understand. And that is what makes this so great. Like I said, this might not ever be topped but because of your quality of work I am very eager to see you try. I honestly can not like this video enough.

I've mentioned this before and I'll state it again. As much as I admire Jim Cornette, this Young Bucks thing happened in front of a crowd of like 40 in a barn and they gave a little kid a memory he'll cherish forever. Now, if the Kayfabe era was in full effect, I'd agree with him 110% but that boat's sailed. And this is from someone who pretty much HATES that kind of thing. Damn but I'm getting old lol Heck, even Kevin Von Erich let a sick kid pin him in the ring during the 80s during their golden era to make the child happy and give them a great memory.

I agree with Cornette's opinions on the ripoffs. I had a short stint as a manager for some throwaway no name federation and I pretty much copied Raven's look, but my promo style was a cross between The Rock and Paul Heyman. But it was over af, all I had to do was just grab the mic and people were booing their faces off. A lot of the boys thought that I was really good. I even ran into a couple of the fans after the show and they were like "you are the most convincing guy at those shows!" It was really fun, would love to do it again sometime.
