Jim Cramer talks 10 bull markets on Wall Street

In the last few weeks, more and more groups have switched from bear market territory to bull market territory and they've still got plenty of room to play catch up, the "Mad Money" host said.
CNBC’s Jim Cramer on Thursday said multiple segments in the stock market have crossed over from bear to bull market territory in recent weeks as the U.S. economy continues its recovery from the coronavirus lockdown.
The market action has helped raise the major averages, which have all clawed back a chunk or all of their losses from the coronavirus sell-off between February and March. A bear market is defined as a stock price that’s 20% below a recent high.
After Thursday’s session the Dow, which slipped about 40 points, is now within 12% of its all-time closing high. The S&P 500, which inched up 0.06%, is now within 8% of its own February high. The Nasdaq Composite is within 1% of the record close it set a little more than a week ago.
“When a rally has leaders from many different groups, [we] say it has good breadth,” the “Mad Money” host said, “and the better breadth we have the more kissable this market is, and that’s what we’re actually seeing right now.”
The stock guru pointed out 10 bull markets on Wall Street and highlighted the stocks that are leading the way higher.

@@justinbrennan9819 Robinhood is aimed towards the young, new investor. Jim's crowd is a more mature market. Someone who is close to retirement should use a platform that has a solid customer and tech support. Robinhood can be an excellent starting point, but their technical issues could hurt people who are holding assets worth totaling 6 figures.

Amazon is an amazing company. I have a fairly big position in Amazon. However, I wouldn't buy here. A lot of great news is already priced in. To double your money Amazon would have to become a $5,000 plus stock. Either wait for a pullback or look elsewhere.

Please clarify what you mean when you say the SEC needs to step up on stocks being overvalued because of short term investing. More controls? More regulation? A lot of people complain about Robinhood bringing a lot of uninformed investers to the market, but the only option that would satisfy career traders who have done this for years is either a law saying that brokers must have trade minimums or that they must control what their customers can invest in by making all of the decisions for them. I get that you and many other older, more main stream traders, prefer that people just save for retirement and not try to make an income with the stock market, but are you suggesting that any little person, who doesn't have millions of dollars to start with, should have a broker just invest their money for them and tell them they can't touch it until they're 60? Maybe you don't. I just need some more information here. Either way, I don't want the government stepping in and making more rules that everyone has to follow to the letter. The reasoning is all wrong also. People are irresponsible. We can't change the rules to protect them. The best way for them to learn is for them to jump right in and make some huge mistakes. When they lose a whole bunch of money, most of them will either learn how to trade better or stop trading. There will be a few who just don't get it and keep losing, but again, how is that anyone's problem? We can regulate the stock market to death, and we'll always have those people.

Cramer can you please review MFA financial and maybe Gan as well on your show. As well as, I have a few other questions about interesting stocks you might be interested in. MFA has been steadily growing since the crash. Plus the recent housing numbers that just came out our fantastically great. I bought in around $1.50 and just bought more shares at $2.50. Gan was just listed May 5th and the gains have been 145.57%. I have not bought any of Gan stock yet. Due you think Gan stock is a good buy right now at these levels? Separate I have vivint solar stock you should check out, it’s been a great company that steadily grows. The best face mask stock due you think is lakeland industries stock?
